Governments must ensure that their major cities receive the financial support they need in order to thrive, because it is primarily in cities that a nation's cultural traditions are preserved and generated.
------正文------
The discussion of if 好像应该用whethergovernments must ensure that their major cities receive the financial support they need in order to thrive has been hot many years. On the one hand, spending money on the protection of cultural traditions is necessary and a must; on the other hand, whether the government should offer their major cities the financial support is questionable, as it is not always only their major cities are the origin of a nation's cultural traditions. 你的观点呢?
Major cities, usually where cultural traditions originate, should spend large amount of money on preserving traditions. Beijing, foothold of Chinese culture, has been the key location of numerous historical events, for instance, changes between different dynasties. People in major cities always have boarder horizon, and would like to accept advanced concepts and technologies; while people in countryside, where information is not so fast and not so widely spread, always want to live in cities in order to get a better life. Major cities, especially those where the cultural traditions originate, always affect more or less people who live around, and the infection can be spread far away. It is always human nature that would like to go and live the place where their culture originates, if possible, to participate in the process of culture changes. As a result, more and more people crowds into those places, and those places, accepting people from different areas, always have culture conflicts, as a result, generate special culture to affect their neighbors again and again to become today's major cities. 这个论证似乎离题了,跟保护文化没有很大关系啊,尤其是农村的人想到城市居住。。
On the other side, it might not be necessary for governments to offer major cities the financial support to thrive as major cities according to their inborn nature, can generate enough money to protect the cultural traditions by their own. Today, the places where the cultural traditions originate have become famous interests, in order to let people from their culture cherish是动词 and protect them, and let people from other cultural traditions get a general idea of how the culture originates. In fact, the income from those spots, such as tickets and souvenirs can afford the expenditure on the protection of cultural traditions, while so many business companies also invest on them. Still take Beijing for example, as a Chinese, we always want to go to Beijing 不一致 since we were still young, as there are so many different cultural traditions including literature, architecture and politics. As far as I know, Beijing government has spend very little money on protecting those traditions, instead, almost all of the money comes from tourism and business companies, as there are so many tourists go to Beijing every year.
If governments really need to offer their major cities the financial support in order to preserve the cultural traditions, however, it is very difficult to make a decision for what to preserve and what not to preserve. As I mentioned before, major cities are always the most developed areas of a nation, they always meets problems such as shortage of land. As a result, they should make different ways to meet the demands, such as buildings with more floors. It might be necessary sometime to use the places of sites for development purpose. Indeed, in my opinion, it should not be decided by the government what to preserve and what not to preserve in cultural traditions, but by the history. Some parts of cultural traditions should be discarded as they are so out-dated that are not useful any more. 例子还是尽量举国外的,都是中国的,似乎不大好
What's more, there are still small portion of cultural traditions originates from small villages. Why these places haven't developed to major cities may differ from city to city. However, as small villages may not so well developed and those cultural traditions, usually ignored by people but indeed significantly important, should be preserve with the help of government supporting financial aids. For example, DunHuang in China, which surrounded by deserts but is indeed represent the high level skills of ancient painters. They should be preserved to show the intelligence of ancients in arts. Thus, government should offer more money to protect those cultural traditions, instead of offering money for major cities where it is not really needed. 敦煌没有门票收入吗?再说点充分的理由
To sum up, preserving a nation's cultural traditions is indeed a hard task, and there are still possible many culture traditions which we have found yet. 这句子没什么必要Government should carefully examine the necessity of financial supports for preserving cultural traditions at different places. For major cities, governments should use the power of people's nature, and in small village, government should spend more money on the protection of cultural traditions.
