------题目------
There is no such thing as purely objective observation. All observation is subjective; it is always guided by the observer's expectations or desires.
------正文------
Is all our observation subjective? The speaker believes so, however, I do not agree. Admittedly, when we observe an artwork, our own emotions will influence objectivity of the observation. Yet when it comes to science, an objective observation must be required. Furthermore, as for the field of politics, the condition seems more complex,  .

The observation of an artwork needs subjective expectations and desires. When appreciating an artwork, like a painting, people will hold different views and emotions about it even they are in the same place and at the same time. I think there might be two main reasons. First, when an artwork is created, many thoughts and subjective emotions are indoctrinated into it by the artist. Some time even the artist himself or herself could hardly comprehend the artwork clearly and accurately just because the artist's expections and desires of the artwork are changing all the time. Secondly, when we appreciate an artwork, our own experiences and emotions influence us. This might aptly illustrate why somebody suicides after observing an artwork like Gloomy Sunday while others do not. Accordingly, it is consciously or unconsciously that we observe an artwork influenced by both the artists' and our own expectations or desires.

As for the field of science, an objective result seems to be required and significant. The process of science is actually the process of observing and acknowledging the objective nature. Since everything exists objectively, our observation should be in accordance of the objective facts. For example, when we observe the planets in space, we use telescopes in order to get an objective result. If we see the space with our snaked eyes and put our own emotions into the observation, we are more likely poets who are less reqired about the objectivity but not scientists. Any scientific result indoctrinated expectations or desires of the scientists themselves may cause a correction later. For example, when Aristotle put forwards subjectively that a heavier ball fell faster than a lighter one, Galileo defeat him with the objective observation indicating the law of free falling. Therefore, when it comes to science, observation must be objective and accurate.

In the field of politics, things seem be much complex. In our daily lives, we are likely to hold a dream of ourselves, as a result, when we do anything or observe anything we are unconsciously influenced by our subjective expectations or desires. Yet when our targets come true, the dreams we held before seem to be objective ones. Take the case of Mahatma Gandhi for example. When India was ruled by the British, Gandhi held a dream to free the Indian people one day. It seemed to be an subjective ideal which was created mostly by his own expectations and desires. However, with his great efforts, he eventually attained his goal and the Indian got independence from Britain. Then his observation about the society several years ago when he determined to set the Indian free seemed to be an objective one. So it is difficult to judge whether an observation is objective or subjective in the field of politics.

In sum, our observation in some fields like arts indeed is subjective, but when we talk about the science, an objective observation is required. Moreover, it seems more complex when it comes to the field of politics
