With the accelerating advance of society, knowledge accumulation and technology innovation, our life has also become ever-increasing complex and we always had to face many kinds of choices. Although some factors limited the number and quality of our choices sometimes, I strongly agree with the speaker that absence of choice is a rare circumstance.

The scientific knowledge and technological innovation provide us with many choices, which improve the quality of our life. For example, the innovation of food preservation gives us many choices for food. It can help us taste so many delicious foods all over the world regardless of how far the food is produced and how long the food is preserved.  The choice for clothes is another vivid example. The style and material of clothing is sufficient for our selecting. The research on the nanometer material for clothing may open the opportunities for us to wear clothe as we wish regardless of the weather because this kind material can prevent us from rain, cold and hot.

Even in many social issues, we still have enough choice for solving. Although the environmental problem has became the human's pain in the decades of years, the technology methods has been taken to alleviate the pain. The machines can recycle the polluted water and rubbish for our reuse. We can monitor and protect the wild species which approaches the extinction by devices of GPRS. We can enact a series of law to ban the undiscriminating fell in order to save our forest. In addition, the population problem has threatened all the residents on Earth. More people need more source and energy such as food, water, space, electricity and even the air. Out space exploration offer us more choice to solving this problem. In the near future, the people on Earth might migrate to other planets like Mars. If this was true, people might never fight for the precious and scant sources and in Africa, no more children will starve to death.


We often wrongly think that we have no choice in many cases because people are unwilling to admit the less satisfying choice as a real choice. . In fact, these unappealing choices might be better choices. For instance, students might always fix tightly their eyes on the transcript. Consider, if you have enough good score, you'll not get the admission of entrance for college. We might no choice but pursuit of high score. The same principle can also apply to the promotion in the job. You might agree that people cannot obtain the respect and prestige in our society unless you are in the high position. People usually take all possible methods to fulfill the goal. Under these circumstances, it seems that we have only one choice. But this is not the case. We should accept a "B" on the transcript if we cannot score "A" because how one appears in person is more important than how one appears on the transcript or the job. We could choose for being a high-quality people rather than being a high-score people. Similarly, we could choose for obtain the respect in a low position on the job rather than a high position. You might achieve a great accomplishment in the low position. High position might only spell the countless troubles for us such as risks for decision.

In other cases, we cannot see other alternatives masked behind the alleged “no choice” fact. The money might be one of the most important factors to impede our choice. Without money we cannot select the expensive food and clothes as we wish. We might not afford the expenditure in the hospital when we ill. But we have other choices. Plain food and clothes might equally serve well for us. Exercise will cost us less money and it can maintain the health of our body and help us fight against the diseases.

To sum up, in most of circumstances, we have many alternative ways.  Although the choice might be limited by the factors like money, we can learn to accept less attractive choice. When face the confusion and uncertainty, we should believe these less attractive choice might be your best choice.

我的感觉是前两个论证段虽然写的很长，但是说服力明显不如后两段，建议将前两段合并，后两段写长，再加一段的确没有选择的情况会显得思考问题更全面。
