I am pleased to inform you that you have been accepted for Full Admission in the Master's Program in Civil Engineering.  Dr. XX  has been assigned as your graduate adviser.  This decision is the result of a thorough evaluation of your credentials by the academic department and the Graduate School.



This admission, however, is contingent upon receipt of final B.E. grades and degree conferral from S. China Agricultural University.  If your transcript reflects the final grades, yet does not provide proof of degree earned, please provide a copy of your diploma or a letter of completion from the Registrar’s Office.  You will not be able to register for graduate coursework until the Graduate School has received this documentation.



This admission is valid, provided that you enroll within two (2) years from the intended semester of enrollment reflected on your graduate application.  If you wish to be considered after the two-year time frame, you must reapply to the Graduate School.



The regulations, requirements, and deadlines governing graduate programs at The University of Akron may be obtained online by our Graduate Bulletin at http://www.uakron.edu/gradsch.  Likewise, the Graduate School website provides valuable information on topics such as registration, tuition and fees, book purchasing and parking.
