I admit that political leaders should withhold information which not only private affair, but also some nation's information from the public. However each coin has two sides, some information about people's security should be open.


Admittedly,  political leaders should withhold information which about theirself from people. After all, political leaders do not equals the Moral roles. Leaders have to have their personal space because undressing their private life has little help to their image.
Bill Clinton as President, he had an improper sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky, a White House intern.Aloutgh, American is the contrary of freedom, people do not have droit to throw stones at one's private life. Bill Clinton's scandal do affect him image. In order to cover the scandal Clinton even lies in the law court, because of his lies he was impeached. So Clinton's example tells us political leader's "face" is very important and leaders should cover their private life at full steam.


Face to nation's information, leaders should open the information by an case by case analysis. Some information are to do with the nation's stabilization and security, in my opinion, leader should not only withhold them to the public but also keep it as secret. For example, in the time of world war 2, American was stricken by Japan in Pearl Harbor. The reason of Pearl Harbor event is the neglect of USA government. Japan spy easily took the information and photos of Pearl Harbor. Just because of the information which Japan spy has taken USA army was serious destroyed So, leaders should take a well management of the information which to do with the nation's security

However, it is important to open the information which link with people's security. For a politician, it is one of the most important characters to gain the trust of the public. Without people's trust, he will lose people's support and finally lose the power, which will even result in a political crisis. For example, in 1999, when SARS was first widespread in China, China government did not tell the true situation to the public, which made the disease spread more quickly and many people even lost their lives. From this example, we can see how important for a politician to tell the truth, especially in such circumstances.

To sum up, political leaders should withhold information about their private affair. However, face to the nation's information, leaders should not have the dogmatic thinking. They should base on the benefit of people and nation to deal with the nation's information.
