The arguer alerts that the one thing what one company's manager should care for is making a fortune for the company. In my angel of view ,I take it for granted that the corporate executive should not only put emphases on the profit but also shoulder some responsibilities from the society .

Apparently, going after more profit is out of question the main responsibility of a manager for a company. We can see this from the perspectives as follows. First of all, it is no doubt that a company can’t survive without profit. As a manager, everyone should exert their best to get profit in order to keep the company going. In addition, the corporation can enlarge himself by the way of getting more margin and provide more occupation for the society. What’s more, the increase in company’s profit can also give our social economy a jump and enhance the development of our society. In sum, in pursuit of more profit may be in some part beneficial to our society.

Admittedly, as the proverb says, one coin has two sides. In order to get profit to the extent, some company will do harm to people also. For example, some companies, like Tobacco Company, make people addicted to their product although their products are harmful for their customers. Certain companies make more margins by making his employee work more and get less. In this way, their employee will be treated unfairly and both the employee’s mind and body will be weary. In one word, while the company make money, it is also significant to take his employee and his customer’s health into consideration.

Furthermore, some companies may have a bad influence on our society also, while their gains are becoming higher and higher. For instance, some big companies choose the developing countries as their factory’s location because the laws against various pollutions are not strict there. By this way, they can make more profit by paying less money in dealing with the waste. Obviously, this kind of profit is at the cost of the environment, as is not being encouraged by the society. In addition, some companies try their best to overcome the legislation so that they get funds. Before the country realize its trick and enact some certain legislation against it, this company will move on and find other deficiency in the law. To conclusion, while the manager develops his company, he should put the moral standard into account also.

To sum up, the executive’s responsibilities include making as much money as possible for their companies and diminishing the company’s bad effects on people and society.
