As a famous person said:"Whoever forgets the history is betraying himself."Of course,with the development of high-tech and
science,we are stepping into modernization gradually day by day,enjoying the various comforts brought up by the unprecedented
process.However,we cannot forget the contribution tradition has made and is making to the community nowaday.

Admittedly,modernization does give us human beings unprecedented profits.With these profits,we has reached a degree so high
that none of our ancestors could imagine.After the advent of electricity,our lives were improved largely,the invention of
lamp turned the nights into daytime,which broadened the active time of humans.The efficiency of transportation has been
largely improved by the proccess of modernization.Physically,Human beings can only move at most one hundred meters in ten
seconds,but by the modernization of the ways of transpotation,especially the airplanes,we can travel to wherever in the world
in less than a day.Now we even can send people to the out space like the moon by the space shuttle.In the old times,humans
only sent mails by horse,which are time-consuming and unreliable.Nowadays,by the utilization of telephone and computer,we can
communicate with others no matter where he is immidiately without cost much,etc.Modernization has changed our lives
eradically that we can hardly imagin the lives our ancestor leaded even one hundred years ago.

However,everything has two sides.Modernization also is not a perfect stuff.it also brings us a lot of harm such as air
pollution,over-population,etc.One conspicuous example about the unavailablity of modernization without tradition occured in
the 19th century of Japen.From the year 1968,after the Japenese sovereign decided to reform the regime and economical style
of the country,the whole country of Japen had made incredible progress in the first 20 years.However,because of the extremely
admiration of modernization and westernization,the social conflicts were sharpened,which in turn caused the government
finance drown in red ink and the traditional culture of the society face collapsing.Until the government realized the
importance of tradition and found a way to balance the modernization and tradition,everything returned to the normal process.

Meanwhile,we can't just reject modernization either and just choose tradition.We have adapted to the way we live today,we
can't reject the comfort and convenience of modernization but just come back to the way of life in the barbaric
time.Besides,tradition also have drawbacks.Some banal traditions which are detrimental not only to the individual but also to
the society as a whole,like superstition,should be eradicated,otherwise will ultimately impede the development of
modernization.

Therefore,the one who said that tradition and modernization are incompatible just overlook the interdependentability of this
two seemly conflict attributes of the society.Actually,the drawbacks of one of tradition and modernization only can remedied
by the advantages of the other.To find a way to develop our society through combining tradition and modernazation,we must
seek the essential and discarding the dross of them.Take archetecture for example,in order to design a great building,we can
combine the advantages of both tradition and modernization.Using traditional building style,the buildings may seem elegant
and magnificent.Using modernization archetecture techniques,we can make the buildings structually safe and keep pace with the
time.What's more,I allege that the reservation of traditional culture will strengthen the people's feeling of nation
prideness and responsibility to their nation which will in turn spur the development of the country.

There is a saying going like that:"Tradition can provide wisdom for modernization."it seems like that tradition and
modernization are two siblings.If we separate them,they would be too pusillanimous to struggle with the future but if we put
them together,they would help each other amazingly well and egregious achievements.
