综合写作
The reading material discusses the corneadisease and listening material discusses it deeply.
The cause of the corneal injuries, which isnot mentioned in the passage, may be the hit to the eye including such as whena ball or a dash hit in one's face or even in the car accident. A flying thinghitting in ones eye can also cause it. For example, when a machine is runningand a piece fly into ones eye. Other causes are those when a chemical inone’s eye. The result is that that person will be poor sighted and illness whencontacted with the light.
The cause of the corneal ulcer may bevarious. For example the injury, chronic dryness, infection and, which is rare, nutritional deficiency may also cause the problems.
The passage and recording both refer a corneadisease called keratitis which can be caused by, indicated in the recording, toomuch contacting with the lenses or exposed with too much ultraviolet lightwhich is much common. Both materials mentioned that the consequence of that isthe outer layer of the corneal is dead and the symptom may not be show up untilsometime later. The disease of that can be cured by antibiotic ointment, dropsor artificial tears. Then the patient should wear patch until it is heal.
好难啊,头一次也就写成这样了。

好像对progress理解错了,将就当成process吧,或者不改了
An increasing number of people arediscussing whether progress is always good. As far as I am concerned, though atlast we all must try to achieve the goal, the progress is valuable in mostcases.
The primary reason is that we can gain alot from the progress itself. To achieve the aim, a great deal of things, orprocess, should be done. For example, only spend most of one's time on learningand studying could he be successful in the academic field such as inventing anew machine. During the progress, he must learn relative area to that kind ofmachine and much time has to be cost in trying and failing. However, during theprogress, he may find many other interesting things. For example he may findout how human think and even the structure of human being's brain. And then, hemay try to simulate that structure in a computer and then he may find a goodway that a computer can run in the similar way as human's brain. Though no onecan guarantee that he may eventually devise that sort of thing, the progressitself can also provide him a lot of new invention and he can publish those andearn honor without achieving his goal.
Moreover, the progress is also enjoyable.According to the recent survey many Nobel Prize winners do not accomplish anyfurther achievement after they win the prize. One of the main reasons of that,I suppose, is that they do not have the pleasure after winning the prize.During the progress they have the aim and then they will enjoy almosteverything they are doing to accomplish since they know what they should donow. For instance, in the process of reasoning the structures of a chemicalmolecule, with the aim of discover some material covered on the rocket, thescientist may be absorbed in the beauty of the material. When he succeeds tofind out the structure he can enjoy the result. After he wins the prize, on theother hand, he may not know what to do and then lose his energy.
However, we should not ignore the goal ofthe progress. The aim of the progress is to achieve the goal and if we are lostin the progress we can gain nothing. For example, if the scientist is absorbedin the conjecture of the structure too much, he may continuously study otherrelative matters and after a while he may feel boring for he have notaccomplish his aim and then even give it up. Thus, the progress fail and heonly can gain some trivial molecule's structure and a tiresome feeling of that.
In the final analysis, despite the factthat we must finally achieve the goal, the progress itself is enjoyable andvaluable.
