Nowadays, rapid development of science and technology has profoundly impacted every aspect of human life. Rather than those books based on paper, we read books and absorb knowledge increasingly depending on other high-tech equipments, such as computer, PDA and mobile phones. As far as I am concerned, books based on paper, consequently, would disappear in twenty years later.Q6V0^-~:~First and foremost, it is a truth universally acknowledged that the processes of producing of books are not environmental friendly (好像应该是environmentally friend) . When we produce paper, for instance, by using regular method, there would emit a great deal of contaminated by-products which can definitely pollute a wide arrange of area, even totally influence a long river. These would be greatly detrimental to plants, animals and, of course, human beings. On the other side, with soaring advancement of information technology, an increasing number of individuals edit files, read books and store documents by using computer and other electronic equipment. Unlike those books producing by paper, these equipments have considerable advantages. For example, computer has great capacity for storing data, so we can save millions of books in one laptop which is so portable that could be taken to anywhere we want, as if we were carrying a huge library. Therefore, we can imagine that in the future books based on paper would be completely replaced by electronic methods.
In addition, some other demerits also confine the utilization of books based on paper. Firstly, the preservation of them is entirely a difficulty, because they are extraordinarily inflammable and erosible(erodible), no spark and no humidity are extremely required. Whereas, when I read books with my computer, I often ignite a cigarette, drink a cup of coffee, without paying attention to the flake and water, how enjoyable! Furthermore, querying some information in a huge book with hundreds of pages would undoubtedly be a headache, which, sometimes, would spend many days. In contrary, searching a key word in an electronic book merely needs you to click the mouse by one finger. Almost instantaneously, results could be printed on the screen no matter how many pages. As a result, I think more and more people would incline to read books with(in) electronic way.
Admittedly, some flows of electronic method are also cannot be neglected, of which the most significant is the problem of intellectual property and copyright. Usually we buy a book from a bookstore, read it or lend to someone who like it, which means that one book correspond to the price of it. Nevertheless, if we read books with our computer, what we only have to do is to download them from the internet or copy them from other's computer, no money should be paid for this. Who come to protect the rights of authors? If there were no one continues to write books in the future, what should we read? In my opinion, the government indubitably should take some effective measures to regulate this kind of pirate behavior. People should also pay for the book they download from the internet. Only by this way, can the market of books grow healthily and flourish. ,t)p7z}X'{0l-PIn conclusion, even though some flows of electronic books cannot be regardless, because of easy storage, portability and convenience, those books based on paper would be inevitably replaced by them in the near future.
