In this letter to the editor, the editorial asserted that the government take measures to control the retail milk prices so as to preventing farms from continuing to receive excessive profits on an apparently increased supply of milk. In support the view of himself, the author provided a data about the price of milk 10 years before and now that the price increase twice than that 10 years before , in addition about the number of farmers. However, the argument set on a series of insufficient fact so that conclusion author got is unreliable for most of us.
Before taking into account about the relationship about consume and supply, the evidence given in the argument should be examined from several other angles. First of all the author assume that the cost of feeding the milk cow keeping constant, but the fact, if true, the cost for supply the dairy cow increase the twice or even three times than that in 10 years before, may weaken the inference the author received. In addition the author also didn't ruling out the possibility that average of product of every cow is also maintain constant, which is also influence the conclusion.
In the second place, form the view about the provide and supply, the price is controlled by both those factors,  for example, more and more people begin to focus on the health, the consume of milk keep raising, by the same time the product keep unchanging, apparently, the price would increase, but it is because that insufficient supply of milk. The content above will let the conclusion lose itself authenticity.
Finally, the author assume the dairy farmers sold milk to consumers directly, however, in general, the farmer sold milk to the middleman, who may got the some of benefit, in addition, most of milk is sent to factory which product dairy products or by-products, only few of milk is sold to consumers in the form of milk.
If this were the case, the study’s results would be questionable, at best.
In conclusion, the author's conclusion is unbelievable by the evidence he supplied, in order to convince me, the author should provide detail of price about economy situation about Batavia especially about the dairy farmer, and point out the relationship about the supply and consume of milk, so that we could judge whether the farmer receive more benefit and the measure could control that situation.

个人认为：１，不知是我自己的问题还是作者的问题，感觉里面很多语法有严重问题，有的拼写也有问题。希望作者以后写完检查检查^^
2,总体还是按照模板来的，格式较好，但是逻辑还可以更完善一些，比如举到产品的成本的时候，还可以举一些影响的因素比如通货膨胀，产品供需与价格的的实际关系等等。
3,由于时间限制和本人学术不精，如有得罪还多包涵
