Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.
According to a recent statistic on the internet, the number of students spending most of their time on studying if there is no homework rarely occupies 25 percent, and has a tendency of decreasing. It follows a hitting debate on whether or not teachers should assign homework to students every day. Some argue that it is necessary to give tasks for teachers every day, while others state it deprive the students of their personal interest. As far as I am concerned, I am back up with the former one for the listing reasons.

To begin with, students, especially young teenagers, are not able to balance their time on study with that on entertainment. As the advancement of internet, vivid styles of entertainment are fulfilled in our daily life, unfortunately, an increasing number of students can not resist the temptation of on-line games and addict themselves into it. My little brother, 13 years old, throws himself into on-line games every day when he arrives home. It is not until 10 oclock at night can he realize that he has not review what he learned at class. The story is not isolated, it is typical of dozens I have heard. Subsequently, homework plays an significant role in urging students focus more time and enthusiasm on study. Negative though this method is, it does keep the students away from tedious meaningless games.
For another thing, homework is benefit to students for their deeper understanding of the lecture and smoothing their mind conveniently. The famous “Forgetting lines” demonstrate that only with reviewing and practicing can students master the knowledge completely. Under most circumstances, homework issued by the teachers are elaborately selected and including the primary parts of the lessons. In consequence, the more carefully the students completing the homework ,the more comprehensively they will acquire the knowledge.
The growing concern over the effect of every day homework, nonetheless, I believe, is not without reason. Nowadays, some teachers tend to assign endless homework to an excess. Even the college students can not withstanding the large amount of homework, not to mention the young teenagers. It is advisable to arrange appropriate homework rather than tedious one.
In a nutshell, no garden without weeds, considerable though the advantages that providing students with more free time are, they can not compete with the benefits that arranging homework brings about, when students` self control ability are taken into consideration. Therefore, I can not find any excuse to oppose to the statement that it is necessary for teachers to arrange homework for students every day.

For another thing, homework is benefit(beneficial) to students for their deeper understanding of the lecture and smoothing their mind conveniently.
