文章采用 2 - 1的形式,就是2支持面优点(充分展开) + 1反对面优点(简略)

Television, a staple of modern life, has considerably influenced human lives in the past decades, especially the way of learning. Only by watching television can people acquire the Mexican cuisine, understand the background about Civil War, appreciate the well-known painting --- Mona Lisa, and the like. Thus, most people claim that television replace the position of books in educating the public. With all aspects contemplated, however, I am of the point that reading books bring people more knowledge than watching television does.

First and foremost, it is books that provide individuals with a systematic approach in the pursuit of wisdom. Every field in science is the collection of concepts that are organized on its own structure. Learners cannot study comprehensively only through part of the subject. For instance, Da Vinci, a celebrated Italian artist, lived in an age without television. By reading books, he managed to acquire knowledge in arts, architecture, physics and math, which made him a polymath. Talent combining appropriate learning method creates a master! If Da Vinci were born in the late of twentieth century, it would be hard for him to study all these subjects just by watching TV. So, with books, people can grasp knowledge firmly and explore deep in their subjects

Moreover, books are the literal expression of thought and experience, which give individuals an access into different fields. Each book is the fruit of human beings' wisdom and endeavor in certain subject. From classical literature to modern technology, people can gain a variety of information through books. I still remember those joyful days in the university library, where I was immersed in the ocean of knowledge. < Arrogance and Prejudice> told me the humanity; < National Geography> brought me to Yellow Stone Park; < Economists> taught me the basis in finance. How exited I am when reflecting those moment approaching the truth! That is how books offer me the imagination and diverse visual angles viewing the world.

Surely, television enables people to explore the world in a new way. The dynamic images that are vivid and impressive are a feast to eyes. For example, fans may imitate Michael Jackson’s dance through the music video. Also, television becomes a subsidiary teaching tool in schools and universities. Before the screen may a child learn to write. After taking both sides into account, however, the advantages of studying by books carry more weight than that by television.

Judging from what have been discussed above, we may reasonably arrive at the conclusion that individuals can acquire more information and knowledge from books than from television.
Man proposes, God disposes!

]Television, a staple of modern life, has considerably influenced human lives in the past decades, especially the way of learning. Only by watching television can people acquire the Mexican cuisine, understand the background about Civil War, appreciate the well-known painting --- Mona Lisa, and the like(有具体的事例支撑,好!). Thus, most people claim that television replace the position of books in educating the public. With all aspects contemplated, however,(这里转折的有点突兀) I am of the point that reading books bring(brings) people more knowledge than watching television does.

First and foremost, it is books that provide individuals with a systematic approach in(改成to好些?) the pursuit of wisdom. Every field in science is the collection of concepts that are organized on its own structure. Learners cannot study comprehensively only through part of the subject. I still remember those joyful days in the university library, where I was immersed in the ocean of knowledge. < (英文理由书名号么?讨论下哈,还是用引号就可以了)Arrogance and Prejudice> told me the humanity; < National Geography> brought me to Yellow Stone Park; < Economists> taught me the basis in finance.(具体的例子很好) How exited I am when reflecting those moment approaching the truth! That is how books offer me the imagination and diverse visual angles viewing the world.

Television, a staple of modern life, has considerably influenced human lives (life) in the past decades, especially the way of learning.

First and foremost, it is books that provide individuals with a systematic approach in (the) pursuit of wisdom. So, with books, people can grasp knowledge firmly and explore deep in their subjects. (I don’t consider this example adequate. Maybe through comparing what we can acquire from books and televisions, you can find disadvantages of learning from televisions and support your issues more effectively. )

Surely, television enables people to explore the world in a new way. The dynamic images that are vivid and impressive are a feast to eyes. For example, fans may imitate Michael Jackson’s dance through the music video. Also, television becomes a subsidiary teaching tool in schools and universities. Judging from what have been discussed above, we may reasonably arrive at the conclusion that individuals can acquire more information and knowledge from books than from television.

全文行文流畅,使用了较多的句式和短语,欣赏……
