Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Observation or studying animals can help us to human nature.


No one can deny that man is a social animal, and have developed through thousands of years and accompanied by the progress of science and knowledge. However, upon the question, could observation animals help us to human nature? Different people hold different opinions due to their various backgrounds and knowledge. From my personal angle, I am in favor of the opinion that studying animals can help us to human nature. The reasons for my opinion are as follows.

First of all, animals and human have the same instinct. There is no doubt that observation animals can help us have a good understanding of human nature, because studying animals will provide people with not only understand animals behavior but also human characteristics. For example, both human and animals have a great love for their children. An antelope always companion with her children and protect her children from the dangers of outside, if a lion is rushing towards them she will rush to the lion and earn time for her children’s escape. The same to human, when our kids are in danger we will do anything to protect them. So I think studying animals can help us to human nature.

In addition, the same requirement make it is possible to learn human nature through observation or studying animals. On no account can we deny the important of basic need such as food, habitat and so forth, in the development of human and animals. There are numerous instances closely fit the notion. Just like we observation that animals must hunt for food everyday in order to survival, and for the same reason our human must work to earn our life. What is more, animals need its habitat to reproduction and our human demand for a family and both of them unwillingness their territory invade by others. Therefore, the most striking conclusion is obvious that observation animals can help us to understand human nature.

Furthermore, studying animals can help human to deal with some problems. Statistical reports from the center of Human Development in Hong Kong demonstrated that the best way for people to understand knowledge and deal with problem is to let them observe and discover the truth through directly getting touch with the behavior of animals.

To sum up, no one can deny that human being is a kind of animals with so many advanced characteristics. So taking into account all the factors discussed above, we could safely come to the conclusion that studying animals can help us understand human nature well.
