The tradition and modernization are seems to incompatible surfacely. since the tradition are the essential remaining part of our nation and the evidence of the uniqueness of ourselves while the modernization nowadays seems more effcient, sustainable but ordinal, the tradition and the modernization can still work together and beneficial each other.

The tradition which is the remaining things we hold from our ancestors becomes the custom of us. Tradition and modernization are sometimes confliciting with each other, and the tradition may gives way to modernization as the development of science and technology. Take the evolution of the big city like Beijing for an example, we have to build a lot of builing in beijing to sustain to the increasing populations. However the tradition is the evidence to support the national identity and the uniqueness of the original. in that case, we have to protect the many low density courtyard houses in the cnetre of beijing. Only if we walk around the streets with the traditional houses, we can feel the uniqueness of ourselves, comparing the feeling when walking around the modern building. Hence, the tradition can never be replaced by the modernization.

From another perspective, there are many cases that tradition and the modernization combine together to form a harmonious style of life. For example, the open ceremony in 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic games, the chinese people present many beautiful traditional play with the modern technology which is considered the success of combining the technology and the traditional culture. Consequently, we can conclude that the tradition and the modernization can benefit each other from the instance.

Furthermore, the tradition and the modernization are not the static. The tradition often are the essential remaining things or the habits we hold from our ancestors, while some parts of the modernization will oneday becomes the tradition of our successors. Regardless of how modern we lives, we still impress tradition and keep many traditional custom. In the way of searching the better life, modernization seems the trying solution we made and the tradition illustrates the final solution of our ancestors. In that case, we should figure out the idea to take both advantages of the tradition and the modernization, and combine them harmony.

As it is mentioned above, we can combine the tradition and the modernization together to make them serving for us to search a bettr future life as long as we can make fully use of the advantages of both of them.
