TOPIC: ISSUE121 - "At various times in the geological past, many species have become extinct as a result of natural, rather than human, processes. Thus, there is no justification for society to make extraordinary efforts, especially at a great cost in money and jobs, to save endangered species."

Mother Nature offers us almost everything we desired. Nevertheless, what we repay her with? With polluted air and water? With decreased species? Yet, common sence informs us that we cannot live without company of other species. It is time for all human beings to aware of the duty of our own.

Undoubtly, thousands of years ago, It was the select of the nature that lead to extiction of some species.
When we visit the museum, various of exotic creations come into view of our eyes. Various of questions haunting
in our minds. Why were the huge dinosaurs, which dominated the earth millions of years ago, disappearred from the earth in blink of an eye? Who was the exact cutthroat? Obviously, there was no trace of human beings at that time to carry out any detrimental thiongs to the giant creatures.So the fundamental reson for their perdition at that time is natural-related other than human beings' processes.

Later, with the gradual evolution of human beings, with the rapid develpoment of industrial revolution, a myriad of species diappearing from the earth unconsciously. As the first huamn being emerged on the earth, he or she endeavor to find his or her own way of living, to subsist in this world to avoid starve or freeze to death. So he lived on other polants or animals to supply for his own energy. Since then, a long-lasting and crucial competition has been setout between animals and human beings. It is the common sence of the theory “Survival of the fittest” that forced human beings to proceed with the nature. With our so-called high technology, with our inflated ambition of reigning the world, we ask for more than we deserve. There is a survey conducted that there ia an average 1 kind of creature extincting from the earth perday. Milloins of species extinguished owing to huamn’s overhunting or destruction of their habitat. Human beings are the culprits.

But on the other hand, we cannot live alone. Every creature live in this world play his own duty, run on his own trace to survive in this world. It is the combination of all that influence the world and makes it keep running in a regular a harmoniuos way. Plants standing on streets not only provide shelter for us, but also absorb exhaust gas from automobiles; trees cannot live without worms
which can help plow soil for them and decompose the defoliation,so that the tree can thrive year after year; and also worm cannot live withoutother insects, they feed on their body to sustain; the circle is endless. On balance, we survive in this world with the company of millions other visible and invisible creatures. So, it is urgent for us to save the endagered species. To save others is to save ourselves to some extent.

People deserve the duty to protect the left species on earth. As the biologic circule plays such a significant role, we should endeavor to pay any cost to preseve it as stable as possible since any components cannot be substituted. People will concern the jeopardious result of unemployment and financial decrease while take extreme consideration of protecting environment and endagered species. Whereus, it is just a short-term scope and they failed to see that during the process of protecting the endagered species, a lot more fresh jobs can be offered, so that employment can be stable. When we rescue other species, actrually, we derive from it as we are free of spending more on searching for a substitute of it when we suddenly come aware of the importance of that species. That is just a shift from the old, inappropriate situation to the noval, reciprocal condition. So that any extrodinary effort is worthy to pay in order to preserve the endagered species.

In conclusion, saving endagered species has called for emergent action. It is the human beings who commited the sin , and undoubtablely, it is human beings’ turn to atone the mistakes.So the extraordinary, and specialized effort is required with the expense of money to rescue the endagered species.
