TOPIC: ISSUE94 - "Universities should require every student to take a variety of courses outside the student's field of study because acquiring knowledge of various academic disciplines is the best way to become truly educated."
WORDS: 317          TIME: 00:44:12          DATE: 2009-7-12 23:57:17
I doubt the notion that the universities restrict their students for the education outside the field. The individuals eager for overfield knowledge would act on their own, while the ones who lack the intelligence or interest would be lagging in progress in such fields.
Firstly, the notion is based on the destination of " truly educated ". However, the criteria could be more specific but not simply aware of the basic knowledge of several fields. The author seems characterized the well educated people without the moral standard, let alone the criteria on the knowledge field itself proceeded with fallacies. Nazi had created an awful nightmare, but the core partizans were actually majorly educated in famous universities. Without the moral strict and the humanism, one can never be chacterized "truly educated".
Secondly, the university should never require the students take on such experimental educational attempt. The fact is that, the students are individuals who are already in their adulthood. On one hand, students could be planning to enter their career life after university education, and they could also be clear that there is actually no need to go outside the field because they`re going further in the field they ought to develop. The new attempt suits both kinds of students awfully.
What`s more, it lacks feasibility because the new education could not build up another knowledge system. Studying needs propelling power, especially in such self oriented condition. Without the reasonable inner motivation, the restriction that urges the students to take on other fields could possibly cause an ebb in their study motivation and turn out worse. In such miserable way, how can we allege that the students could absorb the knowledge outside their region and build up a system of notions? The education is likely to be a vague experience which only brings fatigue and depression, and after several years, the isolated knowledge would be easily washed away.

I doubt the notion that the universities restrict their students for the education outside the field. (???)The individuals (are)eager for overfield  knowledge would act on their own (这句话有点奇怪?), while the ones who lack the intelligence or interest would be lagging in progress in such fields.

(应该可在再扩充写几句)

Secondly, the university should never require the students (to) take on such experimental educational attempt. The fact is that, the students are individuals who are already in their adulthood. On one hand, students could be planning to enter their career life after university education, and they could also be clear that there is actually no need to go outside the field because they`re going further in the field they ought to develop. The new attempt suits both kinds of students awfully.

What`s more, it lacks feasibility because the new education could not build up another knowledge system (应该加个副词进去). The education is likely to be a vague experience which only brings fatigue and depression, and after several years, the isolated knowledge would be easily washed away.(这句话重点表达??)

1,觉得需要几个明确的中心句吧,各个段的大意有点模糊,很唐突
2,通篇在讲restriction 了,感觉有点不切题
3,字数貌似还是不够?
triumph…………

2# 泡面

嗯……多谢找出这么多点来……
头一次写就限时确实搞得很窘迫,不过还是准备每一次都这样练……
再次感谢啦!
= =待改动。
