Reasoning and logical thinking is the most fundamental tool for students to explore the nature and to accomplish in society. In this sense, these two skills are crucial for breeding originality and development. However, it is the strong sense and resolute will that controls these abilities and every educational system should find themselves in a delicate balance between a strong mind and emotion.

At first, capacity for reasoning and logical thinking affect our courage, habit, sense and ability in challenging traditions and pursuing personality, which controls our behavior in pushing the history and society forward. Due to ignorance or misapplication of the appropriate skills of thinking, one's thinking may be unclear, inaccurate, imprecise, irrelevant, narrow, shallow, illogical, or trivial. For instance, the previous black people, who were convened their inherent inferiority; and the sequacious Fascist, who were imparted the most devil Fascism, are the victims of inability in reasoning and challenging the traditional theories and values. On the other hand, those individuals, who can really reason and analyze, assure their victory and accomplishment at the starting line. When people were following the success of Microsoft Corporation, there two people didn't follow this trend and eventually created their own way to success through reasoning and analyzing the contemporary condition. They are Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the founders of Google Corporation. In short, capacity for reasoning and logical thinking merits considerable attention from the institutions and schools.

However, by analogy with our body structure, the brain is the center that controls our legs and other physical parts, whereas the heart outweighs both brain and physical body; reasoning and logical thinking, which administrate the behavior, is mentally managed by the emotion and proposition in turn. Neither, can students, without controlled emotion, demonstrate their real ability in school , nor can they perform well in future work. All too often, we can observe that the students perform not very well since the high pressure; they might have some mental problems because of emotional dysfunction; and in extreme cases, these emotional problems result in the ever-increasing suicide rate among students. Meanwhile, in their future work, through ill-controlled emotion,  low efficiency, increasingly low employment rate as well as high suicide rate results.

Actually, educational system should pour emphasis on logical thinking and exploring own emotion; and strike a balance between them. When persons possess intellectual skills alone, without the emotional power to control them, weak sense critical thinking results, just like the skeleton with no soul to lead it. Strong sense requires intellectual humility, empathy, integrity, perseverance, courage, autonomy and confidence. On the other hand, well-explored emotion alone, without substantial skills or abilities, causes poor mind, just like the air soul without concrete structure. Intellectual mind needs comprehensive analysis, discerning ability, reasoning and critical thinking. The educational system should make the students have both in abundance. Manage the ability with strong emotional, and demonstrate the emotion by ability in reasoning and logical thinking. Thus, possessing a clever and manipulative thought that makes the students be a better generation both mentally and intellectually.

In sum, intellectual ability is of significance in challenging and reforming tradition; whereas, the function of a strong emotion lies in manipulative strength in guiding this ability. And thus the educational systems should emphasize the capacity of this intellectual ability, at the same time, pay efforts on consolidating their mental strength, and thus prepare a much more competent generation for the society.
