We are facing with choices almost every day. Are there some certain circumstances that we are absent of choice? This may depend on the subjective as well as the objective parts.

To begin with, there are abundance choices in the world. In our daily lives, when we wake up in the morning, we choose which breakfast to eat, which clothes to wear, which bus to take and so on. In terms of academic, we can choose what kind of university we want to go and what profession we would like to take when we graduate. For the art part, the artists can draw whatever they like and let their imagination fly. Even to politics, there are still many choices, such as the stance of war, peaceful or aggressive, benign to its people like Rooselvt publicize the New Policy or like the Hitler who is rough, ambitious and aggressive? For a human being, he can choose to be nice and make friends with people around or be cold and indifference. There are actually full of choices in the world.

Even though there are so much choices some people still keep on groaning about no choices. For instance, a soldier betrayed his country and said he had no choice. Subjectively, he himself would facing with death if he did not give in, nevertheless, from the objective part, the country should not be betrayed since there are many people who are suffered from the war and looking forward that the armies can defeat its enemies. Likewise, a student dropped out from school because his mother was sick so that he must stay in the hospital to take care of his mother he said he had no choice, in this circumstance, the student has had weigh between his class and his mother, however, he found his mother is more important because he loves his mother. From these two examples, we may see, people often say they have no choice because they find it hard to make a choice, however, there are choices indeed they say that because the choices are limited.

Although in most circumstances people can have choices, just a thing of scarcity or abundance, there are circumstances people or some other things that can not make choices. The famous "Natural Selection", was put forth by Darwin, an eminent biologist. Darwin found that the natural is a world between strong and weak, he then give us a conception of Natural Selection that is survival of the fittest. For the natural, it can choose which animal or botany to survive while the animals can not choose to survival because natural principles can never change, the rabbits have no choice but to be eaten by wolves because they are weak and can not run faster than wolves. From another perspective, some strong creatures can be ruined inevitably, the dinosaurs are thought to be the strongest creature in ancient times, when the comet hit the earth unexpected, almost all creatures were died and dinosaurs can not be excluded as well because they had no choices at that time. Another example is that in the process of globalization, we have no choices but to face with the cultural diversity, imported things and so on. Similarly, after the Second industrial revolution, a development of the productivity would deem to happen due to the technology advance.

To sum up, albeit we have choices in many circumstances because we have our subjective standards and to weigh, nevertheless, there are many circumstances in the world that we do not have choices which is based on the fact that we do not have room for subjective evaluations and the objective things forced us to accept without choices what they will bring about.
