ISSUE:
The luxuries and convenience of contemporary life prevent people from developing into truly strong and independent individuals.
ARGUMENT
The following appeared in a letter from the owner of Sunnyside Towers apartment complex to its manager.
"One month ago, all the showerheads in the first three buildings of the Sunnyside Towers complex were modified to restrict maximum water flow to one-third of what it used to be. Although acthual readings of water usage before and after the adjustment are not yet available, the change will obviously result in a considerable savings for Sunnyside Corporation, since the corporation must pay for water each month. Except for a few complaints about low water pressure, no problems with showers have been reported since the adjustment. I predict that modifying showerheads to restrict water flow throughout all twelve buildings in the Sunnyside Towers complex will increase our profits even more dramatically."

考成一坨翔了……出了考场就内牛满面……
人生最悲剧的就是，考了两次GRE，分数竟然一样！！！连续两个月，早上6点半起床晚上12点碎觉，最后二十几天是脱产的，居然是这种结局我真的醉了。
出分的那一刹那我真的都傻了。因为之前模考从未这么离谱过，本来想着这次只要v考到150，q170左右就不再考了，真的考一次太耗神，大把大把的时间都是青春啊，大好青春都用来考GRE了。
可是现在我的内心是崩溃的。

总结一下再一次失败的原因：
考场上的心态真的特别重要！考场上的心态真的特别重要！考场上的心态真的特别重要！
重要的事说三遍。
我考试的时候可能太紧张，之前设定好做每一小部分用的时间（比如我预算着做前6道TC最多不超过8分钟……）然后我每做一道题就下意识的去看一下屏幕右上角倒计时。因为紧张有时候还去换算下已经花费的时间和我预计的时间的出入……现在想想真觉得好傻逼，题都不保证正确率看个毛时间，越看时间越焦虑就越静不下心。现在回忆可能我这种状态导致我本来可以作对的题都做错了。
还有就是，考场里监考老师不停地走啊走走啊走走啊走走啊走走啊走……那高跟鞋踩的，我真想起身拍她。。
另外，我是属于做得比较慢的那种，基本上每个可以停顿的时间我都停了，这样导致做到最后一个V的时候刚做10分钟就有人陆陆续续往外走，监考老师走来走去检查他们的电脑收草稿纸，正在做V的我心里真是一万只蚂蚁啊……
我家距离考场所在地有一段距离，早上要跑高速到邻近的城市。也加上来大姨妈吧，在高速上的时候我爸车速最高都100了，我当时特别晕，恶心感觉想吐，下了车到考场里稍微缓了过来，但心里还是有阴影的。
总之今天就是诸事不顺……（罗里吧嗦说了这么多，其实要怪也只能怪自己不争气）
希望后来考试的同学吸取我的教训！调整好心态，祝愿大家都考到自己理想的成绩！

我已经打算三战了。和男朋友一起。

p.s.附上今天的AW攒一下人品，我8月30还要考托福。为自己加油！

Finally, Plainsville's schoolchildren represent a new generation of potential customers: these schoolchildren are required to participate in a fitness-for-life program, which emphasizes the benefits of regular exercise at an early age.

我也做题慢，不知考试时可不可以塞耳塞啊，屏蔽掉别人走路声音。

不清楚，应该每个考场不一样……不过，耳塞真的有作用吗？我记得有人说塞上跟没塞一样

我塞过，应该是可以的，但我觉得能够自己屏蔽掉声音才是正确的状态

这位考友，深有同感。 我也是5月考了一次，然后经过这一次暑假，六点多起，晚上十二点多睡，分数和上次居然一模一样。 问题是跟我一样的哥们，也是跟我一样的基础，一样的准备，资料是使用和分析等等，可人家这次已经325了，真的是要好好分析了。 马上就要申请了，必须报9月份的，一定要分手！

真的可以吗？我也想带个海绵耳塞过去，你当时进去之前有没有请示过考官还是就直接自己带进去用了？
