除了说不要脱离实际外，我就不知如何展开了。  而且根本不知道idealism是什么！（字典帮不上忙）

很多人追求理想，当这样往往导致失望或麻烦

A. An idealist is one who, on noticing that a rose smells better than a cabbage, concludes that it will also make better soup.
B. Political idealism such as communism brought catastrophes to former socialist countries. (反动的说)
C. Individually, idealism, if it were not balanced by pragmatism, would lead to personal failure.
D. However, idealism, guided by practical plans, gives people hope and enthusiasm.

这是孙远的，我也看了，但理解不了idealism,那即使按他的也不知怎么展开，另外，第二条肯定不能用吧。

前后是两个部分

我的position是同意前半反对后半

1.肯定Many people admire idealism并分析原因：produce psychological pleasure freed from realistic confinements or even sufferings （随便扯了一个原因）
2.反对usually，提出后面的论点是conditionally. 肯定原题的部分：So ideal that it denies the common sense/fundamentals/principles of universe... 例子的话比如说老毛缺乏科学素养的什么Great leap forward？
3. Yet the author goes too far to say that idealism USUALLY ... Actually ... When idealism serves to instruct or enlighten ... 例子的话：有没有什么比较传奇的名人创业之类的故事？好像原来听过一些，我觉得会比较贴切的似乎。

当然要把idealism给定义一下先。

顺手随便写的，不一定严谨，仅供参考。

我的Syllabus: 先申明我没有写过所以不一定可以真的按这个提纲写出来。
Position: agree
1. the pursuit for ideal and perfection is not only the demand of human psychology but also the stimulus of progress/development of human civiilization （分析idealism的成因）
2. people admire idealism for it dipicts glorious future, which lights our hope and inspires our enthusiasm to strive for that future. idealism makes one's destination clearer, although idealism itself does not point out the way to achieve that destination.（分析人们admire idealism的原因，同时转折指出理想主义往往难有实现的途径）
3. without restriction of experience and practical attitude, idealism could be a perfect banner to mislead people. （个人和集体的例子各一。假如没时间举集体的例子，感觉上比较不容易offtopic。）frustrated people always attribute their dissapointment and trouble to their former ideal idea.
4. conclusion: without ideal, we do not know where to go, nevertheless, it is even more important to know how to go.
