有的大学PS和SOP是分开的，SOP要求：

读后感、观后感、生活经历——这是和personality的部分。所以可以表达你的感性思维。当然语句要注重逻辑顺序。

可以是教育背景有关的，也可以无关。关键是这些生活经历和背景如何成为你申请密大本科的动力！

SOP倒是写了不少学校了，PS这种模式的还没写过啊。。。而且只有500字左右。请问你写的时候有没有写社区服务之类的东西啊？我不太明白怎么跟申请挂钩。。

UM的PS和UC的PHS很相似，不用特地写你的volunteer experience，就写你的成长经历，如何导致你最终选择读研而不是工作的。我想这里面肯定有很多家庭，社会，经济和自己的因素在里面。

虽然UMchi要求写得很清楚，但还是不好写啊
