Please be advised that the Board is unable to determine your eligibility under Section 520.6 of the Rules of the Court of Appeals based on the documents furnished to date. Rule 520.6 (b) (1) requires successful completion of law school study that is at least substantially equivalent in duration to that required under subdivisions (c)(1)(i) and (ii) and (d)(2) of Rule 520.3. If your official transcript does not clearly confirm that your law degree was based on classroom study that is substantially equivalent in duration to the number of credits and hours of instruction as required by Rule 520.3, then it will be necessary for you to provide a written statement from your law school or schools confirming the credits per subject and the total number of hours of instruction time per subject successfully completed during your program of study.
To determine that your course of study was substantially equivalent in duration to the number of credits and hours in professional law subjects as required by Rule 520.3, it will be necessary for you to provide a written statement from your school indicating the title of your thesis, its subject matter, the total number of credits that were awarded for it, the semester it was completed, and the name of the faculty member under whose supervision it was completed. If you completed more than one thesis, please have your school provide a written statement for each thesis.
