笔试及面试日期： 22-Mar-2017

Offer日期：26-Mar-2017

Total intake of 2017 Fall: 100 students (including both local and non-local applicants) (在面试Q & A部分已确认)

Normal time of offer notice: in 1 week (综合了其他帖子,通常是一周内或10天内就会有offer，如果过了4月底application deadline还没有收到offer notice的话，录取机会比较低，可能申请去了waiting list，要等其他人不要offer，才会有进一步通知。官方说法Normal deadline for offer是6月中，因为有部分学位要准备summer course给没有相关背景的student去衔接硕士课程，过了这个日期，就等于说默拒了。而对于PolyU的商学院来说，面试老师都建议applicant早点申请，因为application逐年增加，越往后申请，机会越低，例如Master of Corporate Governance 2017年fall的就增加了30%，竞争相当激烈。

学历背景：211大学

专业资格：ACCA full member

笔试问题: Discuss how the changes of Hong Kong Companies Laws affect over corporate reporting (要求no more than 200 words，非旧题，拿起来满眼都是泪，感觉对付新题的办法，都是拿旧题准备的资料，修改一下中心内容，用套路的方法写完。）

面试问题，其实都是都是老生常谈；
      1. 介绍一下自己，例如学习，或者工作；
      2. 为什么选择Poly U?(其实这个问题PolyU自己都给了candidate answer,笔试完了之后，有一个application survey，里面就有选项问为什么选PolyU)
      3. 详细问一下学习或者工作的情况；
      4. 问你会不会考HKICPA,ACCA,CICPA之类(重点提示，如果candidate已经考完，或者考了相当一部分，90%会给offer，证明自己有能力应付课程)；
      5. 问career planning；
      6. Q & A

1. Discuss the role of accounting and professional accountants in light of the recent financial crisis or instability.
2. Elaborate the opportunities and challenges in the Hong Kong accounting profession in the current development of Asia or Mainland China economies.
3. Accountant is traditionally regarded as a profession of high ranking in the society and in the business world. What are your views on this and in what context it is true? What is/are the essential element(s) constituting such ranking?
4. How does the development of e-business affect the accounting profession, in both positive and negative ways
5. Describe the desirable attributes of a professional accountant, and explain why those attributes are deemed desirable.
6. Discuss and explain the important attributions of a qualified professional accountant
7. What would you considered to be the essential attributes of a professional accountant in the modern business environment?
8. What would you considered to be the essential attributes of a professional accountant in the modern business environment?
9. What do you think are the major objectives and roles of financial reporting?
10. Comment on independence and integrity are important to Professional Accountant
11. Fair value accounting is commonly adopted in most countries nowadays. What would you consider to be the merits or problems in adopting fair value accounting?
12. What is the role of professional accountants in the financial HEALTH and DISCLOSURE of a listed company and how this affects the well-being of a financial market?
13. Accounting fraud is intentional manipulation of financial statements to create a facade of a company's financial health. It involves an employee, account or the organization itself and is misleading to investors and shareholders. Are you aware of any accounting fraud cases? If yes, please briefly discuss one case
