哈哈 第一篇GRE作文帖~~刚刚了解完GRE作文的一些东西，感觉类似于高中时考试英文作文的一些东西，只不过要求更加明确并且严格了，很高兴以前对待英文作文的态度都很认真，也对英文写作有点点小的总结，虽然有两年没写英文作文了。。。捡起来，总结起来应该还不错滴~~ 69 Some people believe it is often necessary, even desirable, for political leaders to withhold information from the public. Others believe that the public has a right to be fully informed.Write a response in which you discuss which view more closely aligns with your own position and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should address both of the views presented.

it is hard to make a conclusion whether political leaders should keep information as secrets or should fully inform his people. However it depends.
In my position, I take the opinion that political leaders should fully inform us about the political information.
To begin with, we need to know where our money goes as we put up so much money as taxes every month. We all know as a server in political department, he will get lots of chance to spend the money, more than one time, we hear that how they waste our money on excitements and foods for themselves. At the same time, we have not got the feeling that our life goes better. So, if political leaders don’t show it clear to us where did they spend our money, they will lose our confidences and trust which leads a worse country life.
Secondly, it is about fair. We share the chance to improve our position and to improve our life. But it always goes the other way. People who are the leaders’ relatives or friends always get better chance to improve their lives which is rather unfair to other people who has a better qualities to get the chance. This situation leads to a critical distance between the rich and the poor which is rather fatal to a country.
Things more than the above, we need to know if the food is healthy and safe, if the water is clean, if the house price will not be put up highly, if the hospitals take a reasonable fee…Information like these play an important role in our daily life, and they also influence our impression on our government and our political leaders, which decides how well are our country’s policy.
However, sometimes things can be even contrary. Information about our armies, weapons or military bases should be kept as secrets, or we common citizens will release it to enemies without attention which leads our country to a rather dangerous situation. And information on most part of high tech areas and economies should be kept well as secret.
In all, withholding information from the public or fully informing the public should be fully assessed. Information that close to people’s life should let us know clearly while other information should be kept as secrets.

To some extents, it is a big release for student who has been admitted to a university but is without enough money if governments offer a free university education. More excellent students can get the chance to get advanced education thus making more brilliant contributions to our countries. Besides, big distance between the poor and the rich will not get worse, society becomes more balanced.
While it is impossible for governments offer a free education to every student without enough money. Government’s money is limited and need to be spent on varieties of aspects of society. And people who can offer tuitions would not accept governments’ such unreasonable policy.
If any student who cannot afford tuitions will get a free education from governments, on one hand, what a big burden to governments. Governments spend too much on education, that have less money to offer to other public affairs such as public faculties, medical insurance and so on which can leads society to an unbalanced state. On the other hand, it can make the students who get free education lazier, get less motivation to study hard while it is unfair for students who can afford tuitions but don’t get a free education. These may cause more cheats and complaints.
However, it can be dealt in other ways. Why not providing student loan to students? Why not offering some part-time jobs to them? Students who get the loan to can finish their education while with big motivation to finish their study because of the loan. At the same time, students who can offer the tuitions will not feel unfair. Last but not least, it is a practical way to deal this problem, governments will not take the big burden to offer such lots of money on education. In this way, society can run healthily.

Besides, the gap between different stratums will not broaden, society will becomes more harmony.
It is impossible for governments offer a free education to every student, since the avenue is limited and need to be spent on varieties of aspects. And it is unfair to lose sight of people who can offer tuitions.
It is a big burden for governments to support any students who cannot afford tuitions. If Governments spend too much on education, less money would be left to offer another exigent public affairs such as public faculties, medical insurance etc. which can leads society to an unbalanced state. On the other hand, the students who get free education might become lazier, get less motivation to study hard. With the limited investment, it is impossible for the policy to cover all poverty students. Thus it is unfair for students who can afford tuitions but don’t get a free education. These may cause more dissatisfied and complaints.
However, it can be dealt in other ways. Why not providing student free-interest loan to students? Why not offering some part-time jobs to them? Students who get the loan can finish their education while with big motivation to finish their study. At the same time, students who can offer the tuitions will not feel unfair. Last but not least, it is a practical way to deal this problem. governments will not take the big burden to offer such lots of money on education. In this way, society can run healthily.
