Issue 24 29 52
The best way to teach – whether as an educator, employer, or parent – is to praise positive activities and ignore negative ones.

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the claim. In developing and support your position, be sure to address the most compelling reasons and/or examples that could be used to challenge your position.

Thesis Sentence: The approval from instructors show a positive signal to learners that they are doing in right way. Definitely instructor praise is effective in motiving learners to learn actively. But lavish praise to struggling learners, especially ignoring their big mistakes or even encouraging them when they are doing something wrong, does not help them to be better. To improve the quality of instruction, instructors should effective questioning of learners and have a good use of assessment.

TS1: To begin with, since the ultimate goal of teaching is learning, the task of instructors is to create a relaxed atmosphere that fosters learning, and praise plays an important role in this process.
TS2: Heaping approval from instructors, however, have bad impact on learners, so ignoring mistakes is never a good way to teach.

TS3: While some people may question that it is difficult for instructors, if negative activities should also be assessed, to control teaching effects, my suggestions here is to give learners praise when they have good performance but remind them to correct when they make mistakes.

每个场景都讨论应该praise positive(好处), correct negative(otherwise后果)
