M: Fluid Mechanics. I will focus on the research of Microfluidic. Do you know
microfluidic?
V: Nol
M: Microfluidic concerns mainly about of fluid flow in micro fluid device.

M : No.
V: Why??
M: No Chinese U can provide me this program. the research of Microfluidic in
China is just in its infancy and legs in US. the education there will help
me to be a leading scientist in China in the future.
V: Your Plan?
M: to be a professor in our School. GSCAS and found a Microfluidic Lab. Here
is the Want ad of our School and the faculty list of our department. There are
14 prof now and 10 of them will retire in 5 years. only 3 are in Fluid Mech.
Our school will be expanded in the following years. I have discussed my plan
with my current advisor and my department chair. they both encourage me to
come back and will help me to found that lab. Here is the Photo of I and My

V: Where take it?
M: Henan. Luoyang. last year . conference in China.
V: Why not stay in US??
M: China just begin to do the reserch of Microfluidic. Microf has many
applications. such as medical, industry... I have published 11 papers and
3 of them has been published in internatioonal journals. Here is the list of
my published papers. Here is the offprints of them. I have excellent
performance in my research. I believe (很严肃,声音很大,很自信,发自内心的.)
I CAN FOUND THE MICROFLUIDIC LABORATORY IN OUR SCHOOL WITH help of my current
advisor and our department chair. But in US ,I am not so easy to found a
laboratory.
V: Where you can get the funds after years?
M: CAS has carried out "Century Program", offing returnee high salaries,
hefty startup funds and other benificents. CAS encourage returnee to
develop advanced research area in China. Next term, in our group, there will
be a professor from Japan.
