Do you agree or disagree that a teacher who is serious and strict is more efficient than a teacher who uses humors and easygoing.

Of two possibilities, I choose the second, that is, a teacher who uses humors and easy going, because I enjoy the courses with cozy atmosphere, which may make me show more interest in such kind of subject he or she teaches.

There may be some people claiming that a teacher who is serious and strict certainly benefits our study by always demanding highly on the correctness of the answers in our homework and the scores on our test paper. Additionally, everyone in class are forced to pay attention even they show no interest in such a boring and tedious lesson. However, I don’t agree with them. We come to school to gain knowledge and the first step to expand our viewpoint is to find the attractions and fascination of the subjects we have to learn. A teacher with a sense of humor must make the students absorbed in the course, they will not only listen carefully about the importance which mentioned by the teachers as well as better mastering the subject, but also show great interest in it simultaneously. I have seen many classmates working harder than anyone else for their special feeling of the subject.

Moreover, most of the students are in early adolescence, criticisms of the teacher who is serious and strict will have bad effect on their study. Take my physics teacher as an example. She is such a strict teacher that everyone is afraid of her, especially the students who study poor in our class. Most of us work hard after school, but the nerve and stress causes low marks unavoidably. The teacher regards these students as bad students by always devastating their confidence. How can they make progress? On contrary, the physics teacher of our next-door class is easygoing, she never feels tired of encouraging the students fail in the exams. I think there must be more benefit on the students’ study with such a lovely teacher.

In conclusion, if all factors are considered, it is apparent that the efficiency of a teacher who uses humors and easygoing overweighs that of a teacher who is serious and strict. Students may show the same feeling on the subject they learn as which on their teachers teaching this subject. A teacher with a sense of humor and good temper will allow the students to enjoy studying more possibly. Therefore, with the relaxation and joy , students are more likely to win success.

It is only worth watching movies that can teach us something about real life, agree or disagree?

One of the most popular pastimes today is movie-going. I’m fascinated with nearly all kinds of movies, from romantic ones to the fantastic, from the comedies to tragedies. When there’re some people claiming that it is only worth watching movies that can teach us something about real life. I, given the chance, prefer to endorse that the movies which can’t teach us lessons should also have consideration.

Commonly, people tend to choose the films which are closely bond to their life. When I go astray or feel frustrated, the movie called A Little Princess companying with me when I was in childhood would remind me of trusting myself and the people around me. The film seems realistic by telling a story about a girl living in tiny old attics and dressing in rags with firm belief that the world is full of love. I always make myself be patient in tribulations by replaying the movie saved in my lap-top.

However,
reasons people watch films are not constricted to get encouragement. Movies are the most fascinating and easiest escape means from increasing pressure, which comes from family, school, working place and society. Combined with acoustic and visual effect, movies are definitely more appealing to the audience who has exhausted themselves in the real world. Why do children like Harry Potter? There’s no magic in real life at all. Through watching the vivid picture on the screen which let us immerse ourselves in fiction, we can approach the magic world only appears in our imagination and feel it clearly.

Moreover, the movie called Titanic had been shown in 1997, why are most of us eagerly looking forward the 3-D one which will be on several months later? I guess that the 3-D effect attracts us. The movie producers add more high-tech to films, making them become more wonderful. I have seen such kind of movies like Harry Potter 7 a month ago and really enjoy the magic effects which add more charm to the films.

In conclusion, movies with realistic themes do teach us something, but we don’t watch films only for this. The worthwhile means differently from people to people. There’re variety of reasons why movies are so popular, we can’t just form our opinions hastily that it is only worth watching movies that can teach us something about real life. The movies which are directed delicately are all worth appreciating.

Do you agree or disagree?

Life today is easier and more comfortable than it was when your grandparents were children.

A question discussed keenly is that if life today is easier and more comfortable than it was when our grandparents were children. There may be someone complaining that the competitive society makes most of us feel stressful. The ever-increasing population of the world will also decrease our opportunities to realize the beautiful dreams such as getting high-paying jobs. However, in my opinion, the advantages of our life can’t be replaced by that when our grandparents were children. If we compare with these two types of life carefully and thoroughly, we may firmly believe that life today is certainly easier and more comfortable.

Firstly, since the rapid development of science and technology, our life today is getting much more convenient than it was when our grandparents were children. As we all know, there was no televisions or computers at that time, the food couldn’t be kept fresh in the refrigerators, and it was inconvenient for them to go to the remote places without cars. How could that happen? I guess that the children had not ever thought about the lifestyle like what it is today. We’re now living a dreamful world of them, aren’t we? How could the children get more fun than us? The poor educational institution would make it less possible for them to enrich their knowledge and expand their horizon. In the modern life, we can try almost everything to improve our innovation, but they could never do this.
On the other hand, have you just ignored of the fact that there were so many wars at that time? The aggressive countries such as Germany and Japan had invaded so many countries in the world when our grandparents were only children. Lots of innocent people were dead. How can we imagine that? Maybe we were keeping running away from the soldiers of the aggressive countries here and there, worrying about the life of our family, friends and us. What a tragedy when we heard of the death of our love? Now the peaceful life will make us much more relaxing, although there may be so many tasks for us to finish, maybe we’re always wondering how to make a better life, maybe we are always complaining about the busy lifestyle which makes us even unable to breathe. We must admit that the advantages of the wars at that time overweighed which brought by the competitive society today.

In conclusion, as far as I’m concerned, I also support the opinion that life today is easier and more comfortable than it was when your grandparents were children. We shouldn’t keep an eye on the stress of our life, but the convenience and peace which could never be gained more than 60 years ago.

A question discussed keenly is that if(whether) life today is easier and more comfortable than it was when our grandparents were children. There may be someone complaining that the competitive society makes most of us feel stressful. The ever-increasing population of the world will also decrease our opportunities to realize the beautiful dreams such as getting high-paying jobs. (car很早就有了,是不是要写不如现在方便,比如有了地铁更迅速了)How could that happen? I guess that the children had not ever thought about the lifestyle like what it is today. We’re now living a dreamful world of them, aren’t we? How could the children get more fun than us? The poor educational institution would make it less possible for them to enrich their knowledge and expand their horizon. In the modern life, we can try almost everything to improve our innovation, but they could never do this. 这段开头说得是 life 如何变得 convenient   结尾应该更好的呼应下吧

On the other hand, have you just ignored of the fact that there were so many wars at that time? The aggressive countries such as Germany and Japan had invaded so many countries in the world when our grandparents were only children. Lots of innocent people were dead. How can we imagine that? We must admit that the advantages of the wars at that time overweighed which brought by the competitive society today.
俺觉得可以举更具体的例子,比如grandparents 讲他们那个时候每天能吃半饱就如何幸福,看见地主的孩子有新衣服穿就很幸福,现在能每顿都吃上热乎乎的饭菜啊。。。。

In conclusion, as far as I’m concerned, I also support the opinion that life today is easier and more comfortable than it was when your grandparents were children. We shouldn’t keep an eye on the stress of our life, but the convenience and peace which could never be gained more than 60 years ago.

Do you think that young people should take several different kinds of job before they take a career in a long term?
A question discussed keenly is that whether young people should take several different kinds of job before they take a career in a long term. Different people have different ideas. Some people hold the opinion that it is a good way to go because we can enrich more social experience and meet the challenge to realize the value of life. Personally, I’d prefer to be opposed to their ideas and the reasons are as follows.
Just imagine that, when we find a decent job in a big company, the first thing we should do is to learn to cooperate and compromise in order to achieve a harmonious interpersonal relationship. Furthermore, we should also nurture a sense of responsibility. If we are under the situation that changing several kinds of job frequently, our colleagues don’t always company us, there may be more challenges for us to change our habits and personalities frequently to meet the needs of different people. Additionally, when we come to a new company, we are sure not to be familiar with the company philosophy, everything we tried and learned before has lost its value and we should make a refresh start.
Moreover, we certainly have many ambitions when we are just students studying in the universities. The major we take must be in some extent related to the job we choose. There may be some people claiming that taking several kinds of job will help us expand our horizon, but why don’t they need the stability and satisfaction? We decide our goal when we are students and seek for our personal development after graduation. Finding a well-paid job which meets our interest will let us gain a sense of self-fulfillment, and then what we should do is just to undertake our responsibility. I just can ‘understand that why should we change the job if it is proper? Can a person who always changes his job finally take a career in a long term?
Above all, I’m still inclined to against the opinion that young people should take several different kinds of job before they take a career in a long term. We find job to earn enough money to make our life, the most important thing is stability and satisfaction. In addition, we can also accumulate experience if we just take a career in a long term.

The best way to improve the quality of education is to increase teachers’ salaries?

A question discussed keenly is that whether increasing teachers’ salaries is the best way to improve the quality of education. Some people hold the opinion that the teachers will take more action to teach their students for the higher salaries, therefore, the quality of education will certainly be improved. Nevertheless, I prefer to be opposed to their ideas and the reasons are as follows.
There is a situation that the teachers’ salaries are increased, just imagine that if the salary of every teacher is increased, there may seem no change for the teachers themselves. Then, how can they get the motivation to try their best to prepare for the lessons and take the classes? I think providing awards for the good teachers may be a better choice. Additionally, the teachers just teach to earn more money, their goal is the money, not to make the students they teach become more excellent. The real good teacher is who sincerely wants to help children learn a kind of subject in a more vivid and interactive way, He or she should show the love for the students, not for the money.
Moreover, changing the salaries doesn’t mean changing the teachers themselves. Some teacher can stimulate the students’ interest successfully on the lesson, but others are disliked by the children because of their strictness and seriousness, or their teaching skill is so poor that can’t make the students to get any improvement. Increasing this kind of teachers’ salaries will do no good even do harm to the quality of education. For example, the parents may possibly choose a teacher with low teaching skill and high salary as a tutor for their child, their origin hope is to see the progress of their honey sweet. What a waste of money if they finally don’t choose the right teacher for they judge the ability by the income of him?
Above all, I’m still inclined to against the opinion that the best way to improve the quality of education is to increase teachers’ salaries. A teacher takes the major role in the education, but increasing their salaries doesn’t equal to improving their ability.

Do you think people should buy things made in their own country, even the price is higher than the same things made somewhere else.
A question discussed keenly in that whether should people buy things made in their own country, even the price is higher than the same things made somewhere else. Personally, I think it is an opening question, but I, given the chance, prefer to endorse that the products imposed from other countries should also have some consideration.
I have a friend who always believes the quality of the products made in Japan. Of course, we are not Japanese. Maybe the Japanese people contribute themselves in their work more than the workers of our country, everything made in their country is not only of good quality, but with excellent features. For example, the Canon cameras and the Sony lap-top win great popularity because they are easier to use and make our life more colorful. Also, there are some lovely designing such as Hello Kitty, Sakura Momoko which we saw in the cartoons attracting most of the children and young girls. The cute cat with beautiful clothes and the naughty little girl with sweet smile can’t be found in our country unless these kinds of products are imposed. Moreover, Germany is famous for its automobile, France is famous for its perfume. It’s a good idea for car fans and young ladies to buy the excellent goods made in these two countries, why not?
Some people may cast doubt that if we intend to buy the things made in other countries, how about the products made in our country? We manufacture them to win the development of economy, but the situation now is that even the people in our country would like to buy the same products in other countries, which does no good to our economical standard anymore. But, why don’t we export the products to other countries? Purchasing the foreign products, on one hand, will boost the communication between each country, the more important thing we can do is to ask ourselves that why the same thing made in other countries looks much better, we can learn to promote the manufactory in our country then, can’t we?
Above all, I’m still inclined to against the opinion that people should buy things made in their own country, even the price is higher than the same things made somewhere else. We should open the door of our country to the world, buying the things made in other countries may encourage the progress of the domestic economy for the products made in our country may also become popular in these countries after the communication with them and the advancing manufactory will also do some help.
