1. BGSE
PROs: impressive faculty profile (possible good LoR if standing out in their program), advanced course contents, and school reputation
Cons: Strength in Macro, 10-month program is too short so a gap year might be considered, hard to stand out(?), large cohort size
2. Lund & Utrecht
PROs: small cohort (about 25 and 15 respective), both are 2-year research masters and a thesis is involved, TA/RA opportunities (confirmed by program director), elective courses flexibility from other departments...
CONs: lower-ranked than BGSE, faculty profile and publications are average (so the connections are weaker), ambiguous placements (mostly within their own countries)
