I basically agree with the view that majority difficult experiences in our time benefit us a lot in the future. After undergoing hardship during a period, people often gain neither the success nor the joy, but only the sweat and arduousness. After that, however, advantages and helps come.
Some experiences, especially the experiences of making mistakes become valuable lessons to us. People always never make the same mistake for the second time. Thus, after an unpleasant experience of making mistakes, we can avoid mistake and succeed more easily. Take myself as an example. Once a time, I had an exploration in a remote Mountain with several friends. All of us regarded it as a piece of cake. However, one of us fell and injured himself. Unfortunately, none of us brought any bandages and medicine. Although his wound had healed, the rest of us felt sorry and gain a experience. After that, when I’m going to trip, I always bring my small medical kit for any contingency.
However, some hard and horrible experiences are helpless to us no matter when is now or the future. For instance, useless to the people who are not interested in chemistry and do not care about chemistry is the tough learning of periodic table of elements in the high school. So, it can not be the excuse for the teachers and parents to persuade the students to study. Parents and teachers always tell the students all the learning will become a rich wealth in the future. However, not all the learning will be valuable lesson and a wealth. Moreover, some terrible experiences bring much more sadness and pain than the valuable lessons, like the experience of losing parents in an accident or a best friend’s death due to the heart disease.
In conclusion, it is fundamentally true that most experiences become valuable lessons and benefit a lot for the future. However, not all the experiences will be a wealth to us.
