A widely accepted idea goes: the world is now smaller than ever before, like a tiny village.
Such illution existed due to the development of new technology and the effect of
globalization. In this case, the speaker hold a view which says: a global university should
be built and developed by all nations, and this university is to engage students in the
process of solving the world's most persistent troubles. Having examined carefully, I
absolutely agree with the idea, however, it is the university itself that may not easily
establish.

To begin with, the idea that establish such global university is inspiring, since the
globalization exerts its power on every corner of the world, hundreds of countries and
thousands of fields is connected as a whole system. Thus, a university even an educational
system for communication among defferent nations is highly needed. In this university,
students can change thier ideas about their our cultures, situation of their nation, customs,
traditions and the like, by discussing such topics, students can obtain a overall
understanding of the whole world, and hence to be better prepared for future jobs related in
international cooperation. Besides, all-sided understanding made it possible for one to bahave
more objectively, thus can approach the goal more easily.

Further more, globalization not only serves as a trends in myriad realms, but has existed and
operated like an integrated machine of large-scale. China is famous for its cheap labor, many
goods, disregard the levels, print with a little line which reads "Made in China", and thus
China is regarded as the "World Factory"; Japan and Korea, on the other hand, specialize in
making digital devices such as camera and audio player; the United States advances in various
areas and this status made the nation be superior in namy high-tech fields; Australia is
filled with high quality ores and Middle East is considered as the source of energy for the
whole world. Every country has its advantages and hence be an irreplaceable part of the huge
manufactoring chain, if any part of it operate abnormally, our world will suffer a severe
loss. From this aspect, we can see the importance of the ablitity to deal with globalization.

However, even presented with so many advantages of such university, to make it real we will
confront a series of problems. First one is the location. When considering the condition of
the school, we should build it in the developed country, it can provide students with the
most suitable equipments required, however, the tuition must be a problem to many student
with poor condition. On the contrary, if we set the school in a much cheaper place to ease
the pressure exerted on those tight pocket students, the condition may not be adequate for
teaching. Secondly, it is hard for students and faculties to communicate with their own
language, since all the members came from different parts of the world. A standard language
should be appointed, however, this may result in situation that many people will need to
learn a new language as their communication tool, it is rather difficult and cost a long
period of time to do so. Even if the language is grasped by every one in the university, not
being their first language, the so called "standard" can be wrongly used in presenting one's
idea.

In sum, the idea of establish such a fantastic global university is inspiring, on the other
hand, there still lies several difficulties to be solved.
