We recently received your International Application for Admission to The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston.  Although we appreciate your interest in our school, your admission does not seem likely judging from your credentials.



Competition for places in our school is very intense among international students.  GSBS is a small school, and we have only a few positions for foreign students each year.  We receive many more applications than we have positions to offer.  Therefore, only those students who have outstanding grades and test scores and significant research experience are considered as admissible and, even then, only a very few are actually offered admission.



We are sorry that we cannot be more encouraging and hope that you will be able to pursue your career goals at another institution.

一大早就被打击了……
email收到的 原因是 low gpa

顺便提醒正要申请的筒子们 UMR可能是计算major gpa的 因为我的all gpa和last 60 credits gpa 应该都不算低
但是大一大二的高数、概率和物理有低分
所以很有可能是被major gpa卡住了
