没用过，不过昨天听两个美国同学聊天，他们都说t-mobile好用，在LA。关键是看你在那个地方了，然后看local people都怎么说，看哪家信号最好。

虽然我没有买过，但是研究过的。T MOBILE 的确是信号最好的。但是也不便宜。因为它现在的29.99plan里面是没有unlimited nights，只有周末才是免费的，所以你稍微不小心就会用超了。如果一定要买tmobile, 最好等有promotion的时候，现在它的有个plan是39.99， 600 分钟 anytime，晚上和周末全免费，我最喜欢这种。而at&t应该是plan最多，价格比较便宜的了，当然信号没有t mobile 好。cingular有29。99 的。5000分钟晚上和周末，anytime时间250分钟。唯一不好的地方就是要签两年的contract. sprint 不说了。我是最讨厌的了，信号不见的好，plan还贵的要死。
不知道你在哪个地方？大城市选择就多了。 买之前先上各个公司网站看看有没有promotion。最常见的公司是 at&t, tmobile, cingular, verizon, sprint, nextel.

T-mobile has a family plan, but a little bit expensive, $69.99, two phones, share minutes. The best is unlimited mobile to mobile minutes anytime, maybe very good for the couple live in two places without local phones.  

Cingular also has the plan, but must purchase plan higher than $39.99, add one line $9.99, but only 600 minutes anytime.

AT&T has the mLife family plan too.

I haven't decided which plan is best for me.  As the current AT&T service isn't good, signal is too bad, we want to switch to another carrier. But We don't use cellphone too much, LG stays in Lab for most of time, and we always waste thousands of minutes.  We just want to keep in touch with each other sometimes, and sometimes make long distance call to friends at weekend.   

LG even raises a idea that he only need a Beeper, haha, that's more reasonable, but I still wish he keep his cellphone.   Will anyone make some comments?

cingular那个family plan不错，虽然是600分钟anytime，但也是mobile to mobile  free的，或者可以选择什么5000night&weekend。
yilan，我们的情况和你特别相似，以前用了verizon两年，我lg也觉得他拿着手机是浪费，所以现在我换成cingular的以后，他就没有手机了，反正他总在实验室，而且反正手机在他实验室也没信号。

我再接着落梅的话说下去，我们本来是打算买两手机的，正好落梅他们还有另一对COUPLE都把两手机精简成一只了，所以我们就只买了一只。也是CINGULARE的那个29。99的LOCAL计划，白天300分钟+周末和晚上5000的那种。说句实在话，那分钟数还真是用不完，尤其是周末和晚上的分钟数，用LG的话说就是拼着命打也还没超过1500呢。所以我觉得如果夫妻在一起的话，没必要买分钟数太多的计划。
而且仔细想一下，电话公司还是很精的，他们设计的这些计划往往让你觉得只要多花几块钱就可以多得好几百分钟，似乎很划算的样子；其实一般情况下你根本用不了那么多分钟数，那几块钱其实是电话公司白赚的。所以买手机之前最好先搞清楚自己的情况再选计划，千万别一时冲动花冤枉钱。
另外，在手机合约内好象是可以换同一公司的计划的，所以我觉得先买个一般的计划，如果实在不够用再去换个贵点的计划，那电话公司肯定很高兴给你换；相反，你要是想从贵计划换到便宜计划，估计得费点事了。

翠翠说的有道理！前几天老公说给我配手机，他自己不要了，偶还不乐意，现在大家说的还是蛮有道理的，差点就又要冲动消费了！

据说是Verizon的信号最好，但是手机不便宜，Rebate的少些。。。。

看amazon上说我们这里选择T-Mobile的人最多

verizon就是那个广告害人，还以为他真有多好，我们用了两年，经常没信号，受“刺激“最大的就是在地下车库我们的就是没有信号，但是朋友的cingular就有。合同一满就迫不及待地换掉了。不过也可能是看地区了。：）
