TOPIC：It is moreimportant to reserve land for human beings than for endangered animals.

As far as we know, human beings occupy thetop level of the creature chain and are the most intelligent organism on theearth. Therefore, naturally speaking, I am in favor of the author’s assertionthat land should be preferably reserved for human rather than for endangeredanimals.

It is undeniable that human make most ofthe contributions to the development of many aspects of the world after theappearance of civilization such as in the field of industrialization,globalization and etc. With the increasingly growth of the economy, more andmore space is needed for human to exploit and utilize. Although some of theexpansion of the development will threaten the habitats of animals, ecologistsare attempting to cope with these thorny issues and have applied someprotection areas to breed and protect the endangered animals. For instance, in Sichuan province in China, there have been some regionslike Wolong Protection Area in which pandas can freely live, play andreproduce. Thereby, government may utilize some land for real estates,factories and utilities without destroying the reservation area of animals,which results in the development of local urbanization.

Moreover, it is the fact that someendangered animals are the result of nature selection and inevitably extinct inthe biosphere. Human is also the periodical product comparatively to the longhistory of the earth and it is likely that we can do nothing to avoid theextinction of dinosaurs on the earth. The governments and populaces shouldfocus on the more efficient, environmental development of the world other thanthe overemphasizing the protection of endangered animals. Admittedly, animal isone factor in the whole creature chain and contributes to the delicate balanceof eco-system. However, the precious energy is so limited in the world and cannot be squandered to protect or reserve some animals that are supposed to dieout. The more wise thing human should do is to hold the strategy of sustainabledevelopment and try to preserve the current animals which are still alive orthriving. In Copenhagenin 2010, many presidents, scientists and experts raise the notion oflow-carbon. It is not only the theory of sustainable development but also thelife style of anyone in the world.

Last but not the least, the population ofthe world is increasing over and over and exploded after the World War Two. Thereduction and limitation of land area is the necessity of society development. Inthe case that many fields are restricted by the decrease of land, it is relativelyridiculous that human reserves more space where animals live first. Expansionof human’s activities is indeed the enclosure of land. However, it is not theunplanned taking up the land. We follow the scientific blueprint to effectivelyutilize the limited land and guarantee the benefit of human development.Simultaneously, it does not do harm to animals to keep their own habitats. Onlyif is fortified science and technology with adequate resources and energy,human beings can raise the efficiency of the usage of space and land so thatmake the world more harmonious between inhabitants and animals on the earth. InDubai, thehighest landscaper locates and in some day the three-dimensional applicationwill dominate any aspect of the life such as the solid transportation network.

In a word, government should give the priorto human beings to reserve land for development and improvement. In spite ofsome cost or sacrifice that can not evade, this is the principle of whichsociety advances. Therefore, more modernized the society is, more benefit thehuman and animals gain.
