212"If a goal is worthy, then any means taken to attain it is justifiable."
Outline

Worthy, by definition of a more subjective term than it is an objective one, is bogged down at the mercy of individuals’ innermost desire of achieving success advantageous to his or her wishes as opposed to that of others. In such a circumstance,it’s fairly impossble for social beings to reach at a consentaneous agreement on the definition of a worthwhile goal. Nevertheless, there lies a great deal of public-recognized worthy goals which, more often than not, mark the progress of the society and therefore it’s highly recommendable that they are obtained in virtue of any means as long as they do not infringe on others welfare..
First and foremost, the term “worthy” per see carries some ambiguous signification in that different people hold different points of view toward it . For instance, employers who resort to the method of sorting wheat from chaff would swear by it as a quick measure of determining which applicants best fit the job. In the perspectives of them, for the benefits of a company who belives in time is money and is deeply attached to the notion that graphology best reflects a person’s personality and capability in work, what is its worthy goal is to recruit empolyees who are more likely to bring profit to the company in as short a time as possible, even thouth it would be achieved at the expense of missing some talents without good handwriting. Consequently, it pays to adopt the seemingly superficial handwriting analysis as a more efficient way of selecing the right candidates than depending on a CV,interview and testimonial letters which require more time in assessing. For applicants, however, it seems that graphology as a matter of fact deprives them of the rights of egalilarian in job-hunting competition and thus it is not worthy. This is nowhere more true than on the issue that in the hodgepodge-like society, it’s people’s belifes, notions that bear the immediate interest to their understanding of “worthy”.
On the other hand, there are public-recognized worthy goals which beget comparatively less conflict of benefits between individuals, and thus we should exert our utmost to attain. Say, to be matriculated by a famous university, to find a fairly paid job, to have a harmonious family and so forh. In most events, all these goals are of no maleficient effects on different people due to their positive nature per se. moreover, to a large scope, we can find worthy goals in our society. For example, economy leader may set his goal to promotte economy at large, political leader may strive for the ideal world of peace worldwide. Generaly speaking, these goals benefit every single person and the whole nation as well, in terms of this, even people of different intentions reach at an agreement in understanding worthy goals and it's possible they woudl try to achieve them altogether.
Yet, in the quest of worthy goal, we encounter embarrasment when the process of these worhy goals tramples ethic and moral. The illuminating examples in point invlove clone and radioactive weapon. Concession granted that for the sake of success in war, they are inextricably the most efficacious tools to be relied on, when comes to ethic and moral, however, they are as well the most nefarious means when imposed on innocent ordinary people. In addition, some goals considered worthy will turn out to be infringe on laws. Consider, during the WW II, right after Japanese airforce attacked Pearl Harbor by surprise in 1941, The US government decided that it was necessary to "control" the Japanese Americans for national security reasons. Thus, the government set up a number of Japanese internment camps to confine Japanese US citizens. On the one hand, these people are Japanese by blood and their presence at the time was threatening to US national security so that they should be controled. On the other hand, they are US citizens by law with full entitlement to citizen rights so that internment of them is actually an act of trampling law. Under such circumstances, people should strike a balance between ethic, moral , law and goal, and ascertain that these goals are not based on the sacrifice of others rights and welfare.
In sum, it’s aribitray, or even selfish to strive for the worhy goals by taking any means, whether maleficent or good for others. Rather, everthing social beings conducted should be within the confines of ethic and law.
