109.The purpose of many advertisements is to make consumers want to buy a product so that they will 'be like' the person in the ad. This practice is effective because it not only sells products but also helps people feel better about themselves.

I fundamentally agree with the assertion that the intention of plenty of advertisement is to attract more customers to buy a product. Even if the advertisement could meet to the amour-propre of the customer as well as increase the sales to some extent, the underlying decisive factor of the product is quality.

Above all, we should admit that advertisement indeed has played a significant role in promote the sales of product nowadays. With the soaring development of commodity economy in our society, several kinds of commodities occurred in our daily life. Faced with the dizzying array of produces in the market, how to make their product's characters rooted in customer's heart, especially unique outstanding characters, and choose by customers is the most significant purpose of producers. As a paramount propaganda method, the primary purpose of advertisement is to exhibit the product a perfect impression to public, ultimately induce the customer to purchase it.

Howbeit, with the competition between business getting more and more drastic, in order to maintain the status as well as profits, false and unpractical advertisements are presented on TV to fake customers. A lot of producers invite stars as the prolocutor of production. It is frequently to see on TV that a slender star introduces the fantastic function after she used a losing-weight drug and recover a perfect stature. Plenty of girls would spend a lot of money to purchase this drug with a nice wish to “be like” the model. However, this advertisement would make an illusion in customer's mind that if the use this product they would achieve the same result. Although this illusive advertisement could increase the sales of producers ostensibly, ultimately, the weakness of the product would be uncovered and then give rise to abundant complaint of customer.

Furthermore, even though celebrities would benefit at the beginning of propaganda, the essential decisional factor is the quality of the product rather than the perfect false impression in the advertisement. As to the weak product, unduly aggrandize the function of the product could not only decrease the sales of the production but also influence the favorable image of celebrity.
Finally, producers should pay more attention to improve the quality of the productions rather than over emphasis on the advertisement. In addition, customers should take a correct eye on the advertisement, it is unadvisable to blindly believe in the advertisement without any thinking. What's more, government should make a correct guidance for the producers carry out the production propaganda and protect the valid rights of customers. Only in this way could the producers and customers establish a harmonious relationship.

As what mentioned above, we can come to the conclusion that advertisement is just a propaganda manner for sales, and it is necessary to use the advertisement reasonable. In addition, improve quality of product could increase the sales ultimately and satisfy the customers.
