Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The best way to travel is in a group led by a tour guide. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer

Is the best way to travel in a group led by a tour guide? Some people agree with that when it comes to positive effects which traveling in a group led by a tour guide exerts. While some think it's not the case at all. Despite wide spectrum of opinion, I have an inclination to the former viewpoint.

Admittedly, as some people say, there are some drawbacks for traveling g in a group. For one thing, we cannot stay in a site for a long time. In order to let you visit most sites in lest time, the guide always take you to another site very quickly. So you just can only stay in a place for a short time and cannot fully remember the place you visit. For another thing, if you travel in a group led by a tour guide, the tour guide inevitably led you to some shop and let you buy some goods. It's very boring.

However, there is no denying the fact that traveling in a group led by a tour guide can play a positive role in our trip. First, we will have more time to visit place. If you travel alone or with your friends to a strange place, you must take the hotel, transportation and food into consideration. If you make a mistake during you trip, you will lost lots of time and money. What's more, you will have a bad mood, so you cannot enjoy your trip. But when you travel in a group led by a tour guide, you will not care about these things. The hotel and food have already been arranged.

In addition to the convenience of traveling in a group led by a tour guide, it also enables you understand the place you visit. When we go to a historical place, what we can see in our eyes is the construction. However when it refers to the background of it, such as which famous people lived in it, how long the construction has been existed and what the effect dose it on recently history, we may don't know at all. Without that information, our trips will become less meaningful. However, if we travel in a group led by a tour guide, the guide will explain all background information about it. Of course, beside the advantage above, we can also exchange our idea with the member of the group, which can make our trips funnier.

To sum up, taking all factors being taken into consideration, we might come to a conclusion that the best way to travel is in a group led by a tour guide. Although, it may have some drawbacks, which can be overcome by choosing a good tour guide or company, I still choose to travel in a group led by a tour guide when I want to visit some place.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The best way to travel is in a group led by a tour guide. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Is the best way to travel is in a group led by a tour guide? Some people agree with that when it comes to positive effects which traveling in a group led by a tour guide exerts (1. 'exert' means to 'impart a strong influence, especially by great effort or position of authority'. It's not a general word to mean 带来影响..a neutral term would be to 'bring' effects. 2. This is not a very complete sentence..). While some think it's not the case at all. Despite a wide spectrum of opinion, I have an inclination to the former viewpoint.

Admittedly, as some people say, there are some drawbacks for traveling g in a group. For one thing, we cannot stay in a site for a long time. In order to let you visit most sites in the least amount of time, the guide always takes you to another site very quickly. So you just can only stay in a place for a short time and cannot fully remember the places you visit. For another thing, if you travel in a group led by a tour guide, the tour guide inevitably lead you to some shops and let you buy some goods. It's very boring. (Actually, many shorter tours, especially day tours, don't really have the time for shopping stops..but shorter tours are not very common in the tourism business in China, so it has come to the impression that the tour guides are always trying to get you to buy things.)

However, there is no denying the fact that traveling in a group led by a tour guide can play a positive role in our trip. First, we will have more time to visit places. If you travel alone or with your friends to a strange place, you must take the hotel, transportation and food into consideration. If you make a mistake during you trip, you will lose lots of time and money. What's more, you will have a bad mood, so you cannot enjoy your trip. But when you travel in a group led by a tour guide, you will not care about these things. The hotel and food have already been arranged.(But that doesn't mean those arrangements will definitely not go wrong. I've actually heard about tour bus drives getting on the wrong highway and wasting 3 hours..another point is that not all tours must have food/hotel arranged for. A tour guide is only, strictly speaking, responsible for taking you around. But again, the tours you see in China often mix tour guides with travel agents, and tour packages with arranged food/lodging is the so much the norm that people have little idea of how varied guided tours can be.)

In addition to the convenience of traveling in a group led by a tour guide, it also enables you to understand the place you visit. When we go to a historical place, what we can see in our eyes is the construction. However when it (What does this 'it' refer to?) refers to the background of it, such as which famous people lived in it, how long the construction has been existing and what the effect dose it has on recently history, we may not (You can't have two modals together i.e. only 'may not', not 'may don't' or 'may isn't'.) know at all. Without that information, our trips will become less meaningful. However, if we travel in a group led by a tour guide, the guide will explain all background information about it. Of course, beside the advantage above, we can also exchange our ideas with the members of the group, which can make our trips funnier ('funny' means something or someone is laughable in a stupid or silly manner. It does NOT mean 'interesting' or 'humorous'.).

To sum up, taking all factors being taken into consideration, we might come to a conclusion that the best way to travel is in a group led by a tour guide. (No you can't. You've only described what is good and not good about travelling in a group with a tour guide, not that it must be the BEST way to travel. In order for something to be the best, it needs to be shown to be better than all/almost all the other alternatives, or significantly better than most the alternatives. There MUST be some kind of comparison, which you didn't do sufficiently.) Although, it may have some drawbacks, which can be overcome by choosing a good tour guide or company, I still choose to travel in a group led by a tour guide when I want to visit some place.
