有人一起背诵新概念四册么？每天背诵一篇。
4月10号18：00截止报名。

然后，上来默写。靠自觉了呦~~~

我背诵的目的是提高写作。最近开始复习写作
觉得没有高级词，有也不太会用到。

我就自己背
傻是傻了点~~
不过四里的文章好象都说的挺激进的,
万一背个"愤青"出来就不好了~~呵呵

坚持不坚持是一件事,
坚持不下来是另外一件事,
我反应慢,所以现在只想一件事.

好像今天已经忘了很多了，后面的自己杜撰了，继续努力

We can read of things that happened 5000 years ago in the Near East, where people first learned to write.

But there are some parts of the world that even now people can not write. The only way that they can preserve their history is to recount it as sagas--legends handed down from one generation of story tellers to another. These legends are useful because they can tell us something about the people lived long ago, but they can not write down what they did. Anthropologists wonder where the remote ancestors of Polynesian people now living in the Pacific Islands came from. The sagas of these people explain that some of them came from Indonesia about 2000 years ago.

But some people who were like ourselves are so long before that the sagas, if they had any, are forgotten. Anthropologists have neither history nor lengends to tell them about the life of the ancient people.

Fortunately, the tools that they made can tell the story. Some tools are made of stone, especially flint, because this is easier to shape than other kinds. Others are made of wood and skins, but they have rotted away. Stone does not decay. The tools remained even when the man who made them have disappeared without trace.
