choir 这个词的发音真诡异！ // rehearsal 彩排 // auditorium // let alone sing // bulldozer 推土机
we've got a concert in 6 weeks // I ran that by the group 这里run理解为“运行”吧 by the group有点怪。。。
ensemble 合奏组这个单词发音有点怪 // but it can't hurt to check...彻底没听懂

now, the irony , from my perspective, 在我看来，讽刺的是

they got these answers from a voice in a whirwiind 在神秘之声中
the endurence of the religion as a lens through which most people view moral question has seperated most moral talk from real questions of human and aminal suffering. this is way we spend our time talking about things like gay marriage and not about genocide or nuclear proliferation or proverty or any other hugely consequential issue.

there is nothing that one should be able to say to the other  that should persuade the other.
notice that we don't do it in science.

but this is just the point ,whenever we are talking about facts, certain opinions must be excluded,that is what it is to have a domain of expertise,that is what is for knowledge to count. how have we convinced ourselves,that in the moral sphere there is no such thing as moral expertise,or moral talent,ot moral genius even? how have we convinced ourselves that every opinion has to count?how have we convinced ourselves that every culture has a point of view on these subjects worth considering.
how is their ignorance any less obvious ont the subject of human wellbeing?
so this ,i think is the world needs now.
it needs people like ourselves to admit there are right and wrong answers to questions of human flourishing,and morality relates to that domain of facts,it is possible for individuals, and even for whole cultures to care about the wrong things,which is to say that it is possible for them tohave beliefs and desires that reliably lead to needless human suffering.just admitting this will transform our discourse about morality.
we live in a world that the boundaries between nations mean less and less, and they will one day mean nothing.we live in a world filled with destructive technology,and this technology cannot be uninvented,it will always be easier to break things than to fix them.
it seems to me therefore ,patently obvious , that we can no more respect and tolerate that vast differences in notions of human wellbeing,than we can respect or tolerate vast differences in the notions about how disease spreads,or in the safety standards of buildings and airplanes.we simply must converge on the answers we give to the most important questions in human life.and to do that , we have to admit that these questions have answers.

是否应该让APS审核验证我未完成的求学经历？

APS审核告诉我说可以自行选择是否认证博士阶段的求学经历，但是由于是不会再完成的学位，所以之后无法再补审。我是否应该选择认证？（博士阶段绩点比较高；但是我验毕了一年后才选择退学）
