4.23政府是是否應該放多的錢在 access internet 上，而是public transportation"

Although Internet has become an indispensible tool in everyday life,I hold the idea that more inverstment should be devoted to improving the public transportation. My arguments are listed as follows.

First, the poor condition of public transportation has caused many inconvenience in our everday life. As a big city, traffic jam is what one must experience as a daily routine.According to the survey done by the government, the average time spent on travelling in our city is 1.8 hour everyday. That means nearly two hours out of 24 hours are wasted on the way to work and home. Mutiply that by 365, how much have we wasted on the way ? As SOHO workers are still minor portion among the labor force, the morjority still take public transportation to work. The government really should do something to improve the situation.

Another reason why inverstment should be put on the public transpotation is quite economical.The financial crisis from 2007 has led to heat discussions on how to develop the economy. Internet has played and continues to play an important role in financial market. Through Internet, all the transactions are done electically and that's really fast. But the electronic business should go well with the real economy. Anyway, the Internet only help the transactions not the productions or the transportation. Without transportation, the transactions won't be fulfilled. Just imagine that you order a book on Amazon. It is the delivery who sents the book to you not the Internet. The transportation of the goods should also be improved to keep up with the quick transactions. In that way, the whole economy will develop healthily.

Also, public transportation also represents the image of a city.We love city life because it's colorful and convinient. We can go to places fast even we do not own a car in a city,because there are hundreds of buses and subways.Public transportation is one of the most important element in building the efficient city life image.The responsibilities of the government are more than developing the economy. They also includes improving the life standards of its citizens. An effective public transportation system will surely provide the citizens a harmouneous city.

Though Internet plays an imortant role in Information Age, due to the reality, it is public tansportation system the government should put more investments in. Pulic transportation plays an imortant role in economy and everyday life, even in the electronic business. More investment should be put to it to build a harmouneous city.

4.27Businessmen are only motivated by desire of money, agree or disagree?
Although the business world is tightly connected with profit, I disagree with the statement that businessmen are only motivated by desire of money. My points are listed as follows.
First and foremost, business, the same as the other occupations, is a career and businessmen are devoted to this career rather than only chasing money. According to the psychology study, human beings have many needs at different levals and self-fulfillment is one of the higher persuits. Many people choose to be a businessman because the business world, compared with other fields, is easier to make a living and build up one's self fulfillment.Being a tycoons is the dream of many businessmen and this may be more important to those who does make a fame as a businessman.
Another reason that deserve some words here is that businessmen are also concerned with the social responsibilities. Especially during the hard times, we can always see those responsible businessmen denote to the charities and those donations save thousands of lives. Nowadays, the responsiblitiy of businessmen is in heated discussion. Some argue that in the industrial society, many businessmen are losing the basic responsiblity and they care only about money. But many more still see this as a temporary state and believe that the businessmen will finally find what's the right way to make a fortune. Take Bill Gates for example, he was broadly criticized at his early years for indifferent to the poor. Late in his career, he built up a charity with his wife and helped many people in the developing country. As the famous saying goes, dying in wealth is a shame.
Last but not least, money is not the criterion of life. And according to the famous phylosopher, Aristorte, happiness is the final goal of life. Believe or not, money is only useful when there is a transaction. Without transaction, money has little value. Obviously one can not eat the money when he can not use it to buy food. So the things brought by money are the most important for those who persue money. And money is not the only way to get those things. Businessmen , the same as the ordinary people, are motivated by the things behind money rather than money itself. For example, fame,self fulfillment, reputation, capability,houses, cars and so on.
To sum up, businessmen take business as a career and a way to fulfill themselves. They have social responsibilities and many of them have done a wonderful job in this area. Money is only a way for businessmen to achieve that they persue. Thus money itself can not motivate the businessmen. They have other objects rather than the solo money.
