Issue125 The past is no predictor of the future.
Some people argue that if we can thoroughly realize(觉得不太好,comprehend 怎么样?) the history well, we will foresee the future, simply because that the past mirror the future. I would contend that this idea seems absolutely fallacious(这个绝对好像用的太绝对了), not because whether the past predict the future or not, just(but?) because(短短一个开头3个because?显得不太好,) hardly can we know about the past and our attitudes towards the future remains ridiculous(对未来的态度是荒谬可笑?不太懂的说) as well.
There are many difficulties which we cannot conquer on the way to realize the past.
Firstly, the times more or less separate the people attempt to understand the past separated. (破句啊,没读懂,是不是people后要加个who?)Histories absolutely happened before the people who are indulged (放在这什木意思?)(是不是有必要下个定义,你认为的历史是人类没有之前就开始了?我认为历史是从人类文明诞生才开始的), even happened hundreds of thousands of years (罗嗦,millions ? billions?)ago. The people can not touch the past directly, they always see the historic material at first, and then weave them into their own thoughts. In the process of weaving, there is no doubt that their recognitions of histories are at least partly influenced by their own subjective and conventional thinking style which consequently unrealistically leads an illusion of the past. Therefore, time, the natural gap between the past and the future, distort the past in a certain degree .(to some extent)
Secondly, ambiguity and confusion of historic materials from (是不是应去掉?) result in an embarrassing situation that we cannot judge righteousness (有这种用法?盼赐教) of them. Generally speaking, human being realizes the history through history records, such as books, architecture, crafts, etc. Among these, we take books as the most precious records, in that books are printed or written on concreted papers. However, certain historic event is differently (词性?另外也不通啊,什么叫不同的书上历史事件也不同?应该是描述、记载不同)written in different books, the facts that one event has several versions puzzle us and discredit the authentic written history. Moreover, authorities usually influence the process of writing historic book (我觉得不对,但不知怎么改,record of historical event ?)that (不需要) by forcing writers to disguise their (指代不清, 谁?作家?当权者?)evil behaviors so as to leave a good name(觉得有chinenglish的味道,用个形容词怎么样?比如说be monumental) for ever rather than go down (go down??)the history as a symbol of infamy. In this case, historic records more or less lie and tell false history. (historic 和 historical 是不一样的欧,要分清楚)
Finally, the people, eager to realize the past, remains always (always remains to have)bias on the basis of their own interests and thoughts. For example, once a German businessman, who failed to compete with a Jews(单复?), asserted that Jews has evil hearts (搭配?), just because he concludes that evil stains Jew’s spirits on the moment Judah betrayed Jesus in the past(又是moment,又是in the past,搞啊,用个since如何?). For their own purpose, people cannot realize and consider impartially, consequently, their prejudice control their behavior and then even influence other people (+,)which finally falsify the true history.(是偏见造成了错误的历史,还是历史造就了偏见?觉得有点混)
Additionally, not only do ignorance and blindness of the past confine our cognition of the past, but also lead our attitude towards the future into a ridiculous way. We primarily fulfill our ears with (这个搭配不舒服的说) the great success of countries, companies, even individuals in the past; therefore, we imagine that everyone and everyone (??) will succeed. When it comes to our own future, we inevitably hope that all things will have a bright future. Conversely, we cannot imagine too much flowers, otherwise, we will go down heavily, due to lack of failures in our imaginary future.
To sum up, the combination of ignorance towards the past and illusion towards to the future will determine that(whether) human being explain the past and foresee the future accurately, even cannot achieve the task in (这个介词有问题)a famous motto, written by Bacon, that histories make men wise.
