我在文章中没有提到社区，主要是关于父母与老师在教育中的作用。
Position: 父母与老师都应该参与到教育过程中。
Body1：老师在传授知识上的作用

In the presence of promotion of people's attention on the education of the next generation, there exists a belief that education should be left solely to those educators, in view of their experience. This kind of view is widely abandoned in favor of the opposing view which I proclaim, namely, that parents, as well as those professional educators, should be involved in the course of education so that the goal of education could be achieved.

In the first place, teachers play an essential role in cultivating the students in many other aspects besides that of the knowledge and responsibility in the school. The reason why teachers are so crucial in the course of education not only lies in the great amount of time during which teachers and students get together so that the students could easily be influenced by teachers' behaviors but also in a kind of amazing "complex" that most students have that students admire teachers in a ironical sense of fear so that the students listen to the teachers more and the teachers could impart the knowledge more easily. This could be easily identified by the complain that many parents have ever griped that the children would not follow the parents' instructions unless the teachers tell them to and by the fact that parents are more inclined to resort to teachers for their children's problems. Therefore, we could see the importance that the teachers boast in the course of education and none of us dare overlook.

However, if we remain negligible in the significance of the role parents have, what we are doing will lead to the de-emphasis of the role that educators own. Parents are essential as well in the view of the children's education in that parents are the most intimate to the children and their behaviors will affect them in a lasting period, more importantly from the very inception of the birth of the children, compared with the time that any teacher influenced them. It is true that most parents cannot be as erudite as professors, what they could offer, however, is a kind of moral lessons and cares: they teach children how to be a man with responsibility to the society and family. In China there goes a story for thousands of years saying that a child abuses his parents when he grows up following his parents' maltreatment to his grandparents. For the story, we could understand the role, unseen though, that the parents hold. Therefore, if we neglect the role of parents in the course of education, what we omit will set an upper limit on what we are willing to attain.

From the preceding discussion, we acquire that although there exists tremendous ways to improve the quality of education, solely by the effort either the educators or the parents make, the most effective one, I believe, is the attempt to combine the functions of the parents and the educator together through which the children could grow up in a steady and well-rounded way. Otherwise the children, when grown up, will either be erudite or underbred as a car solely with a system of acceleration or that of brake. No matter which situation the children are in, dangerous are they.

To sum up, the parents and the educators have their own merit in the course of education omitting any of which would circumvent the educational enterprise of our next generation.
