One of the universal issues that draw growing concern is which kind of attitude should students have facing education.
The speaker in the title claim that they should bring certain skepticism to whatever they study, instead of accepting question passively. I believe
that this viewpoint is too partial and the students should find a balance between this two attitude for following reasons.

First of all, I must admitted that bring certain skepticism to the knowledge is a quiet correct approach. During doubt the study, students have deeper understanding to the knowledge and develop the ability of learning, searching the information or independent thinking. For example, if you learned about a policy which the goal is to narrowing the gap between the rich and poor, however, you are afraid it will discourage the initiative of investment by businessman, so you asked teacher for helping and looked for information and documents. As a result, you found a way to reduce this negative influence. On the contrary, if you just accept this policy passively you should not be clear totaly.

Furthermore, the school motto of Harvard university is "Let Plato be your friend and Aristotle but more let your friend be truth", as one of the best university in the world, her motto tell us everyone may has mistakes, even though they are Plato or Aristotle. What theory concluded by wiser is also may not truth.

To illustrate, Aristotle once believed that the heavier ball will drop on the ground before the lighter one if they be fallen at the same height, which be the truth in the afterwards more than 1000years. However, a famous experiment upset this idea. From the top of the tower Galileo dropped a light ball and a heavy ball at exactly the same time and they reached the ground at the same moment, which proves that the Aristotle's viewpoint is wrong. This event reveals that we certainly should have skeptical spirit, otherwise, we cannot get ahead.

However, on the other hands, we shouldn't doubt whatever we study eyeless. The first is everything has two side, if you over-limit when you were suspicious of anything you learned without critical thinking, it will always bring you negative ending. It might cause nothingness of the knowledge and value, or ignore the importance of basic. For example, we may mistrust the justice of legal provision when we studying law, that's normal, however, if you discredit every rules you may non-identify all of law and order, and you probably walk up on the way to crime.

The second is students have to accept knowledge passively, especially low age students like pupils. They have non-sense of right and wrong about science. Only have enough basic and research capability can they doubt the study rational. So, it is necessary that students accept knowledge passively.

From what i has been discussed above, I feel that the mistrust everything or accept whatever we learned both have negative influence to the development of science or the growth of students. Acceptation, criticism, development, then re-acceptation, re-criticism and re-development is a better way to make the progress of knowledge.
