3 Although complete honesty is not a virtue for a politican in some situation, it is necessary for the polical leaders to be honest to the public or they may lose trust from citizens. [ 1 不能因为可以keep secret to the public，就找到了机会corruption 2 the chief policy of the government should publiclize to the citizens]
提纲看罢，三点论述角度和我基本一致，但是1，2两点的例子好像不是很很力度，尤其是第一点，第3点比较好

Is complete honesty not a useful virtue for a political leader? Referring to this issue, I think whether be honest to the public or not is decided by the specific situation. When it comes to some political secrets and personal life of leaders, it is necessary for politicians to keep secrets. Likewise我觉得likewise 应该作层次递进之用，这里应该用转折连词 we should avoid that the political leaders utilize keeping secrets to have an opportunity for corruption.按我的理解，主要说的是一个成功的领导人应该避免腐败，而不是我们应该避免领导人去腐败，建议改一下

To begin with, never leaking some national affairs such as the military affairs is not equal to dishonesty. In my opinion, the political leaders have responsibility to protect his or her nation's military information because such information refers to the security of a country. There is a persuasive example to illustrate the significance of keeping military information. The Google Corporation has created a new piece of software called "Google Earth" in 2005, which could provide maps and satellitic photos of any place in the world to any person. Since this search engine could help people find out any place with pictures, even some important military bases, the Google Earth cause many nations to worry about the security of their countries.这个例子的Achilles' heel在于它的主角是Google公司而不是我们要关心的effective political leader 所以你后面的论述就感觉有些牵强，Also the nations' leaders are afraid that the terrorists may make a full use of these maps to produce terror affairs. Only offering the nation's military base maps has made leaders worry about the national security, therefore it is of essence to protect country's military information. Moreover the political leaders do not provide such information which could not represent the leaders lie to the citizens. When it comes to military secrets, it is responsible for the leader to hide information.这段后面的论述如果不看例子的话很不错，不过，其实从这个角度论述的确很难，因为常识是任何一个国家的领导者，不管是否effective都不会泄漏军事机密的。

Besides, it is indispensable for the political leaders not to publicize their private life in order to avoid disturbance among citizens. In current life, some magazines cater to the public to broadcast the personal life of leaders in order to attract readers. The politicians should avoid publicizing their personal life for the purpose to prevent appealing citizens to concern much on such issues. As we all know, the Clinton-Lewinsky Scandal costs a large amount of finance to investigate the relationship between Clinton and Miss Lewinsky, which is of no use to the development of the economy.你举这个性丑闻的例子是想说明领导人不应该完全把自己的隐私公开对吗？我有两点不懂，1 这个sex scandal 不是Clinton自己公开的吧？2 你谈到这个例子时认为publize the private life 就浪费finance怎么怎么，可是这跟他取得政治上的成功有关系吗？显然缺乏进一步的论述 The leakage of the private life of political leaders could make citizens care much about politicians' life to satisfy their curiosity, which may neglect the economic development of a nation to some extent. Thus it is vital for politicians to protect their personal life from being publicized.

Admittedly, complete honesty is not a virtue for a politician in some situations, however it is necessary for the politician to be honest in most circumstances or they may lose trust from citizens. For one thing, some politicians may utilize this chance to corruption. Since politicians have some authority to keep secret about some issues, it is easy for the leaders to defalcate这两句讲的是同一件事－corruption建议精简，你可以先从领导者不诚实的反面说，即过度的隐瞒会导致corruption,你认为呢？.建议这句用if从句 Hence it is necessary to strengthen public surveillance to prevent corruption. For another thing, the chief politics should publicize to the citizens to make people get a general view of the developmental orientation of a nation.这方面可以适当展开

In summary, whether to be honest to the public or not is determined by the specific situations与开头明显重复了. The politicians have responsibility to protect the national security and it is necessary for them to keep military secrets. However it is indispensable for the nation to prevent corruption due to this keeping secrets authority.

智恩这篇文章，说重了点，感觉你没有抓住to be effective 和to be completely honesty 的真正关系，你在论证领导人应该适当隐瞒信息的时候用的google的例子没有说服力，个人认为从领导人要运用自己的权力，制定政策，限制公司对国家机密的公开，这才能体现a political leader' effectiveness, 另外，领导人在私生活方面不应过分公开，为什么呢？因为他容易在政治的游戏中受到对手的攻击，取得政权才能实现自己的政治理想才能be effective对吧？而你举sex scandal的例子却把论点放到浪费财政方面，显然没有多少力度，最后一段的论证从corruption和illustratratetheir own political standpoint入手，感觉很合理，但是还是不够具体，就说这么多了，怕被你狂扁一顿，呵呵，其实我水平有限，只能说这些了，^_^
