History seems to have masked as many mysterious as possible, and such is so convincing that historians interpret the past through careful exploring and precise logical reasoning. Like most things, there is far more to it than meets the eye. Historians, when they begin to explore past, cannot go behind his particular thoughts and ideas.

First and foremost, there is no denying that the study of history is not a purely objective process. No man ever looks at the history with pristine eyes. He sees it edited by a definite set of his insights into the world and ways of thinking. Even in the history exploring, he cannot go behind these stereotypes; his very concepts of history will still have reference to his traditional customs. Although we have some cultural relics and historical books, historians, to study history without objective pursuit, are to some extent, inaccurate. These relics, historical books, and some evidence are justly immortal, yet do they convey the meaning that the historians can study them without any subjectivity? Absolutely not. Since they never see the past with their own eyes, it is inevitable that they bring into history their personal view, or even prejudice, which is impartial to the study of history.

Furthermore, another should be added that historians sometimes distort the facts when there is no sufficient compelling evidence. Robert Conquest has said in all seriousness that the historian, registering the facts beyond doubt, and in their context, cannot but also judge. For instance, Paul Revere's famous horseback ride to the Massachusetts countryside in one version, he single headily alerted the people that the British were colony. We have this image of us solitary rider galloping along of the dark from one farm house to another, and of course the romantic version of the story is not what actually happened that night. Paul Rever was the only one of the many riders helping deliver messages that night. In this sense, we may say historians become storytellers when they lack the facts though there still exists some difference between the storytellers and historians.

So much is certain: that the storytellers create story in the light of their imagination while the historians research the history based on some data, or, logical reasoning. Historians try to study history objectively, if they ever had done, they cannot think outside the particular patterns that their brains are conditioned to. Having said this, however, since the history is awfully complex and complicated and, as the speaker mentioned, never can we go back, hence what the historians do is necessary and understandable.

Taking into account all these aspects, the exploring of history is not as accurate as some people think, although it trying to be, as much as possible. Until we are objective enough as to the ample facts, the main history of human life must remain unintelligible. It is necessary first for historians to arrive at that degree of sophistication where they no longer conditioned to their own brains.

History seems to have masked as many [这个MANY不用了吧]  mysterious as possible, and such is so convincing that historians interpret the past through careful exploring and precise logical reasoning. Like most things, there is far more to it than meets the eye. [SORRY,这句没有读懂] Historians, when they begin to explore past, cannot go behind his particular thoughts and ideas.

First and foremost, there is no denying that the study of history is not a purely objective process. No man ever looks at the history with pristine eyes. He sees it edited by a definite set of his insights into the world and ways of thinking. Even in the history exploring, he cannot go behind [beyond]  these stereotypes; his very concepts of history will still have reference to his traditional customs. Although we have some cultural relics and historical books, historians, to study history without objective pursuit, are to some extent, inaccurate. These relics, historical books, and some evidence are justly immortal, yet do they convey the meaning [convey用的好] that the historians can study them without any subjectivity?

[Paul Rever的例子叙述的不是很清楚] In this sense, we may say historians become storytellers when they lack the facts though there still exists some difference between the storytellers and historians.

Taking into account all these aspects, the exploring of history is not as accurate as some people think, although it trying to be [这句是什么?] , as much as possible. Until we are objective enough as to the ample facts, the main history of human life must remain unintelligible. It is necessary first for historians to arrive at that degree of sophistication where they [(are)]  no longer conditioned to their own brains.

that's all.
