The speaker asserts that education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. While I concede that the speaker’s assertion is reasonable under some special circumstances such as educating the gifted learner, in most case, however, enlightening students with common lectures is the goal of most kind of---delete educational systems.

To begin with, an educational system that can---delete takes into account the specific needs and interests of each student will makes great efforts to totally develop the students’ distinct potential and talent. In this kind of educational system, students, feeling centered and appreciated, will be more motivated to study. For instance, many regular and secondary schools in the United States offer special programs designed specifically to meet the needs of gifted students who are described as having exceptionally advanced performance or the potential of outstanding performance on intellectual, creative, leadership(形容词形式,不知道,,,), artistic or specific academic fields. Moreover, some schools provide specialized education programs to meet the gifted students’ special needs exclusively, for example(和前句意思差不多,不要了吧). These schools offer advanced education in mathematics, science, technology, the arts, or other academic disciplines. The educational system which considering the learners’ interests and gift is undoubtedly scientific, effective and reasonable(这句才是分析,太少了,多说说好处,譬如不会埋没,或常规教育变得平庸,多分析,,,).


Admittedly, it is true that interest is important to students being educated. However, it is impossible to be realizedfor (that--delete) making educational plan specifically accords to every student’s interests. As we all known, the more specifically designed one can get to meet his or her own needs and interests, the more effective it will turn out to be主语是谁?. Because of this, students will be much more actively engaged in studying without the necessity(reluctance) to learn what does not interest them, or what seems to be of no obvious help to their future careers. However, comparing with the huge number of students, modern educational resources seem very limited. So there are not enough educational resources such as teachers, classrooms and instruments to fulfill every individual’s requirements.   客观的限制因素部分讲的有点少,前面太强调兴趣,和第一段可以合并一下,可以吧,,

Thirdly, even if there is abundant educational resource available, specifically designed education should not take the place of traditional general education. The traditional general education offer students most fundamental lectures which can help them to be an eligible citizen. Without it, the students’ knowledge structure is not integrated. Therefore, society would not find all kinds of person 什么意思?with ability who are impetus of our society. 这段讲传统教育了?针对每个学生的教育可不是现实,哪能有传统教育出来啊?我的理解,,,

Last but not least,(据说是cliche,少用) schools cannot only offer unified lectures to all of the students. They have responsibility to proffer elective which could be selected by students. But the required course must be guaranteed firstly. For instance, as to the students whose major are history, school could provides some electives such as the arts history and the literature history according to different interests of students. It also could guarantee the harmonious development with generalization and specialization.

In sum, the issue that how to make education truly effective should call a balance with both educating generally and educating specially. No matter what the two perform excessively will do harm to the education , balance would be our best choice
