Technology serves more as a function of influencing social customes and ethics than determining them.
1. Technology does cause a great change to our lifestyle, ideas and knowledge. The information technlogy become an driving force to renovate our lives.
2. However, it is the social customes and ethics that controls and determine the technology.
The communication technology serves to make our communication more convenient rather to subvert our ideas about customes such as face-to-face communication between people.
The human clone technology is banned because it conflicts with human ethics.
3. There are a great deal of examples to illustrate that the overthrow of the determining relationship between tech and ehtics or cutomes lead chaos to society. Against humanity and social ethics, Hitler used the toppest tech to produce homicide weapon, which brought catastrophe to the global people.

(1)social customs are inflenced gradually with the development of technologies.Firstly,the way of daily life changed attributes to the high velocity of work.On the one hand,people are paying more attention to the time of sharing with family.On the other hand,exercise for body-shape and health condition are taking into consideration for the sub-health state caused by increasing pressure of work .Secondly, way of work also changed for the application of technologies ,such as SOHO phenomena , televised meeting of distance,etc. Finally,problems raise because less time provided to family . both the divorce rate and the rate of juvenile crime are increasing.
(2)Ethics is the criterion of individual’s behavior,which is a production of a long process through thousands of years influenced by the morality ,history,and environment.As a consequence,it can not be consistent with the change of technologies easily.
(3)technologies act as a two-edged sword in the society,as to the customs and ethics ,both of which can be influenced by the tochenologies.Since benefit or jeopardize can occurring in fact at the some time,controlling the side-effect should be taken into account.

1， the technologies break though the traditional concepts, produce the new social
customs and ethnic. 举例技术的发展使女性走出家庭，愈来愈多加入到社会工作中来
2，技术作为人们所利用作为争取民主独立的工具，举例甘地的非暴力不抵抗运动。赢得了世界人民的支持
3，揭露和监督政府，举例水门事件，使政府更加公平
不知道些中文提纲行不行？:confused:

论点：正小负大
１．同意科技发展很大程度上影响了人们的生活习惯。
理由１．在通信交流方面，人们越来越依赖科技，手机通信，email，上网聊天msn,skype，代替了传统的书信交流或者固定电话。
理由２．在科学研究方面，人们越来越多利用电脑查阅资料，图书馆也逐渐电子化以方便人们即使不出家门也能获得想要的信息。
理由３．在娱乐方面，人们有了更多的游戏方式，karaoke, video games不用上电影院，在家里就很享受大片。

２．然而人们的习惯和道德标准仍然沿用几千年传承下来的精髓。
理由４．因为人性中很多本质的东西是不会轻易受到影响的insusceptible。比如我们仍然会按照传统在特定的节日和亲戚朋友联络感情，美国人依然会过他们的感恩节，中国人也一样会过他们的春节，法国人依然浪漫地在valentine’s day和自己的情侣漫步在月夜下。
理由５．许多国家的宗教信仰深入人心的地步是far beyond our imagination的。基督教徒不会因为网络发达了而在网上做祷告，仍然会经常去教堂做礼拜。信佛教buddhist的人也会定期去寺庙烧香膜拜pilgrimage，吃斋饭fast
结论：科技影响了人们的生活方式和习惯，但是却不能根本地改变人们。

The technology is necessary to social customs and ethics, but not determinable.

1. stimulate the social change;EX no yak fur house in Tibet instead of concrete building

2. Technology has developed, but the ethics has no changed. –EX medicine….v abortion was denied by Christine

3. No relevant technical element changed, but custom changed to acclimate to the geography change

4. all the relevant determine things happened and shifted

观点：好像还是中立

1.    技术确实影响了人类的社会习惯。例子：automobile 的发明改变了人类travel 的习惯；电话的发明改变了人们通讯的习惯；计算机的发明改变了人们办公的习惯；电子商务的发明改变了人们购物的习惯。

2.    技术也影响了人类的伦理道德。例子：tube-baby and clone technology所带来的一系列影响。

3.    然而，并不是技术决定了人类的社会习惯和伦理道德。社会习惯和道德是由历史、社会、政治以及宗教等多方面因素共同决定的。例子：中国受历史的影响较多。
