感觉写的很不顺，尤其没有例子支持。
Many art works bring splendid value to our society and thus we have remembered the names of those artists. Some people maintain that it is the artist, not the critic, who gives society something of lasting value. As far as I am concerned, I agree with this notion conservatively since it downplays the importance and contribution of critics to the value of art.

To begin with, many artists create many famous and valuable art works to our world. Generally, those works are mostly the combination of author's effort and sprits. That is to say, the author has to devote himself to his work and make full use of his skill and sprits. Take Leonardo da Vinci for example, a well-known artist whose amazing painting Mona Lisa has attracted the people all over the world. He had took 4 years to draw this portrait and focused on every detail to make it a perfect work. With his studious working, Mona Lisa can now earn its position in art history. So it is sound to assert that it is the artist who brings valuable works to society.

However, we can not neglect the importance of these critics behind artists. On the one hand, although the names of critics are mostly forgot by people, we should not assume that they have nothing to do with the value of these great works. That is to say, many art works benefit a lot from the comment made by critics. Critics, through their expertise and professional experience, can give artists plenty of wisdom advises, which improve their works in return. On the other hand, critics also benefit people. As we know, art always goes one step ahead of society and ordinary people may miss its true meaning by just looking at its appearance. It is the critic that catches the value of the art and teaches people how to appreciate art works through its comment and thus enable people to hold a better comprehension to great but abstract works.

As what we discussed above, we can come to a conclusion that both artist and critic give society something of lasting value. We believe that with the combination of artists and critics, more and more great works would be brought out and accepted by people.

总体我觉得你的观点是有保留的赞同，那么你的Artist的价值要重点突出一下
思路还是挺清晰的
