8.6日第三次作业写作：
Some people prefer to live in a small town. Others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live in? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.
口语:
In your opinion, what is the most important characteristic(for example, honesty, intelligence, sense of humor) that a person can have to be successful in life? Use specific reasons and examples you’re your experience to explain your answer

Living in a small town or in a big city, which do you prefer? It depends on people’s different habits and hobbies. Some elderly people might prefer to live in a small town, because of the peaceful atmosphere; on the contrary, those young people would like to live in a big city full of challenges and opportunities.

As a youth in my 20th, I do prefer to live in a big city such as Beijing or Shanghai. First of all, there are more opportunities than those small towns. These cosmopolises always attract a great number of international companies, which also bring a lot of work opportunities. Especially for people like me who is major in international business. Moreover, I can also have more promotion opportunities in these big companies. Then I will be motivated greatly to pursue my dreams. If I work hard enough, maybe one day I can achieve a comparative high position in the company. In other words, I might become a big fish in a big pool, not a big fish in the small pool. In addition, there are chances to start one’s own business as well.

In the second place, more opportunities mean more challenges. Those metropolises are full of competitions. Because there are so many elites from all walks of life and sophisticate technologies. It is not easy to win a place to stand on in big cities. Pursuing a position is not only to pursue a better life, but also to fulfill one’s value, at the same time, complete self-perfection.

In the third place, the charm of one metropolis also exists in its entertainment conditions. It has so many big shopping malls, amusement parks, entertainment facilities and so on. All these above just cater to our youth’s taste. To sum up, living in big cities makes my life busy but colorful.

However, when I reach my retire age, I might choose to live in small towns. There isn’t so much pressure, pollution, as well as noise and traffic jam. Also the life pace is not so quick. The elderly people may feel very comfortable to lead such a quite and happy life.

口语
In my point of view, if one person want to success in his/her life, the most important characteristic is one’s willpower, in other words, whether one can persist on what he/she is pursuing. To become successful is not an easy job for anyone, after all only very few people can be said to have achieved success. But it is the strong willpower that makes them distinguish from the others. They do not give up when other people retreat. They insist on seeking their dreams and do not afraid failures. Finally they gain success.

最后一节，讲完small towns的好处之后，仍然要一句或两句表达你立场的总结：prefer big cities。否则感觉没完。

仅仅个人观点啊，我没上过培训班，不知道讲得对不对，呵呵。

非常感谢,很赞同你的意见.写的时候也感觉应该有收尾,由于词汇有限,怕重复说过的东西,所以就仓促结尾了.我再思考一下,动动脑筋.
