More and more debates about the issue have aroused,that where should we spend money,something that lasts long time or somthing that provides a short-term pleasure.It's hard to immediately conclude which part should be more valuable,since each part has some advantages and deficiencies.

People who live under deep pressure prefer pay money for some shor-term pleasure in order to make themselves relax physically and mentally.These activities ,such as a trip to some resorts,a vacation to some islands and a visit of local park or zoo,will be the best choice for them.In account of their heavy workload,they have not enough time to deal with something that lasts long time.

However,though things that last long time is relatively more expensive,it no means wasteful to spend money on them.On the contrary,those things which provide a shor-term pleasure is a kind of luxury.For example,someone who is rich spends a big amount of money to make a trip outside the earth.He must be planning to get other sorts of exciting feelings soon after he comes back the earth. That is to say,if one always wants to get pleasure from those things,he have to keep spending money to the black hole.

On the other hand,something that lasts long time ,such as a book,is more valuable.My teacher once told me that every time one reads the same book,he/she will get a different experience.Some books can make people laugh,some will make people make a deep consideration,some encourage and inspire people.That is to say,things,which last long time,only cost people spend their money once,after that, they can keep them forever and use take advantage of them anytime they like.Such as houses and cars are essential things in daily life.Only after people own these things that last long time ,could they put part of their time on those short-term things.

With the reasons listed above,I can safely make the conclude that it is better to spend money on long-term things than on short-term things.
