It has been a long-held belief that arts, gift from God, gives the best expression to human thoughts throughout the history. To me, this is true particularly in the following aspects such as politics and religion. In addition, without arts, legions of profound ideas would not be expressed and spread.
To begin with, in politics, arts have been playing a critical role in not only political agenda but also public criticism. Almost every elections are filled up with various uses of artistic symbols. For example, in a typical election, candidates appear everywhere from music video to photos on newspaper to publize their political ideals so that public will vote for him or her. This is how arts such as music and photography are used to make politics more approachable to attract people's attention and thinking. Undoubtedly, this kind of use is quite effective. Also, arts are taken as an appealing tool to express public opinion. A large number of newpapers feature comics, some humorous pictures painted to express anger or dissatisfaction in an ironic way. Often these comics are acclaimed by public who consider them as fun but will exert serious impact on politics since their opinions are now expressed openly and precisely in these comics. In this way, arts help public to voice their opinion and enable politicians to propagenda their ideals.
When it comes to religion, arts is the best way to reflect and solidarize people's religious belief. In Europe, hymns are performed regularly in church, encouraging people to seek for spiritual consolation in the soft, gentle rhythm and solidarizing people's faith in God. What people appreciate in hymns is not limited to beauty of music and arts. It is more importantly specific religious values. Another role arts are always playing is to strengthen people's commitment to religion by involving them in different rituals. In ancient Greece, people used to dance to express their faith in gods and godesses in their religion. Through this active participation, the involvement will prevent people from betraying their religion. As consequences, arts serve as a way to display people's religious belief and a centive for more devotion in this religion.
Actually, were there not arts, the brilliance of human civilization would never be reserved and herited and social values of neither past nor present would be portraited for both our future generation and our contemporates. Some may argue that we could speak when arts no longer existed. However, chances are that words are simply not enough unless artistic ways are employed. Ancient China has been well-know for its poetry. It is even claimed that without poems, Chinese age-long ideas and thoughs would never last. In other words, it is in no other than poems and arts that those scholars found the most effective way to express their opinions towards society, life and universe. Therefore, the significance of arts to show social values which would otherwise not so well presented can never be overplayed.
To conclude, in almost every aspects of the society, and, throughout the history of human civilization, arts have been a most suitable way to display comtemporate thoughts and values. If there were no arts, I believe, social ideas would perish without even being heard.

To me, this is true particularly in the following aspects such as politics and religion. In addition, without arts, legions (what does this word mean? )of profound ideas would not be expressed (add the following word such as freely)and spread(pass down for generations).

This is how arts, such as music and photography, are used to make politics more approachable to attract people's attention (delete: and thinking). Undoubtedly, this kind of use is quite effective. Also, arts are taken as an appealing tool to express public opinion(to point out who use the tool to express public opinion, such as “politician”). A large number of newpapers(newspapers) feature comics, some humorous pictures painted to express anger or dissatisfaction in an ironic way. Often these comics are acclaimed by public, who consider them as fun, but will exert serious impact on politics since their opinions are now expressed openly and precisely in these comics. To conclude, in almost every aspects(s?) of the society, and, throughout the history of human civilization, arts have been a most suitable way to display comtemporate(commemorate) thoughts and values. If there were no arts, I believe, social ideas would perish without even being heard.

It is all right for the whole passage. There were many grammatical things, but not too serious. The words chosen and language expression have to be still improving in following practice. Another suggestion is that using more foreign example instead of Chinese to illustrate your thesis.
